S Reg Rover 75! £1000. ~~A leggy diesel manual though, on the plus side it looks relatively rust free, and the sills look fairly solid apart from some light crispiness~~

Edit - as it transpires pretty much all of that was horseshit. 140k isn't really leggy, and the sills have been repaired poorly. That's what the initial excitement does when you find something you wanted! But not now it has come to light it isn't really an S reg, so the seller must be talking out of their rear end too..

Leaving the V5 ref no visible in the ad suggests they are not switched on to selling cars (as does the price!). Anyone unscrupulous could have a shiny new V5 within a few days (although I appreciate possession of a V5 does not mean you own the vehicle).

A bargain if it’s not rusty. Shame the interior has gone saggy, my Pallas interior ( grey herringbone tweed) never did, but the velour suffers.
