Lucky it doesn't need restoring, then. Tim Bishop engine, plus brakes and a good clean and it's good to go.

Given present prices that is a bargain. Not an S but still well worth the money they are asking. It’s gone bonkers, 5 years ago that was a £1500 car.

They were brushed stainless were they not? So no need for paint. So why the paint? Hide accident damage? Or because they look shit in the original finish ? 

I think it looks like a decent kit car, and let's face it, that's pretty much what it was.
