As it happens I do have a spare block, but £5k minimum. To fully restore that say goodbye to £20k plus, a lot of which will be postage costs from Sweden and the USA.

Plus labour.....

Lucky it doesn't need restoring, then. Tim Bishop engine, plus brakes and a good clean and it's good to go.

I'd be amazed if it actually worked that slick. Or if anyone has actually pulled in a Corsa D. A very bizarre accessory that clearly nobody really bought...

Given present prices that is a bargain. Not an S but still well worth the money they are asking. It’s gone bonkers, 5 years ago that was a £1500 car.

A Vauxhall that says 'HMP' on the number plates, and in later years some GM models were called 'Life'. Wonder if there's an Insignia 'Nonces Wing' or Astra '5 Years for aggravated burglary' due out soon?

After the success of regional variations of Monopoly,  Hasbro's 'Hungry Hippos, Tamworth' was less popular.

They were brushed stainless were they not? So no need for paint. So why the paint? Hide accident damage? Or because they look shit in the original finish ?

I think it looks like a decent kit car, and let's face it, that's pretty much what it was.
