This is all the money but caught my eye regardless because purple.

I could nearly forgive the inflated price, the Autoglym paper mats which he likely bought on eBay and the striped boot carpet.  The fact he pretends not to be an armchair dealer when referring to "our volvo" is a little misleading but not exactly harmful.

But fuck my life.  The advert.  Jesus Christ.

"I wonder how many miles that lovely 940 has done"

"I'm all ears"

"Despite saying I'm all ears, can you repeat that please?"

"As opposed to from partially new?  Anyway, tell me more Mr L J K Setright..."

"Actually I think that's what I'm like during a night with your Mum"

"More like happy ending".

I'm sure he's a nice old bloke But It Must Take Ages To Type Like This And Spend Hours Fucking About Changing Fonts Like An Old Poster We Used To Have On Here

1983 Honda City Turbo II HatchBack RHD 5 speed 1.2L $9,500 For Sale (picture 1 of 6)

I love both of them to bits and would own if i could, but just have to point out a big flaw in the advert...

Located in the USA...dry desert west no salt on roads....RHD

It's on a fucking Washington state plate, in the Pacific North West, a place known for having a crazy amount of rain as well as being on a pacific coast. (Okay, eastern Washington is dry and has some desert...but literally nobody lives there)  I've seen first hand how rusty cars there get, and considering how it says there is a few rust bubbles already.... ?

This has been on several times and very cheap, I do not understand why it has not found a home, it is a great colour.

Because it's seriously foooked and spares availability is error, somewhat lacking. I love these but those wings rot from the inside and by the time it shows like this, the headlight mountings will have more holes than Swiss cheese. And that's just the wings.

Don’t be taken in. It’ll break. Then it’ll break again. Then again. You get the picture.

I’m going to take issue with this I’m afraid.

It’ll only break once. It’ll be the head. It’ll never work again.

I was at the Stafford kit car show in 1998 when thee were launched and had a good look around their own one of these, they were awful but the kit was £250 plus a metro.

I don't think many were sold and even less completed and put though the SVA/IVA test, including this one, the reg no in the ad is still down as a metro so fair play to the original owner for managing to get it MOTd after conversion still as a metro.

Incidentally at that Kit car show my mate and I decided to build a Robin Hood 2B.

I'm sure I remember that AX being for sale a couple of weeks ago, is it being flipped or has the current seller discovered it needs more doing than initially thought?

Never knew 4-door AXs were a thing. Never got them here in Australia.

Were AXs of any variety ever sold in Australia? I’ve never seen one.
