Think of it as a Caterham for the cost-conscious.....

Or as an attachment for one of Beko's vacuum cleaners

I know where to put the wheels.

It's very close to where the photos are taken, wet and salty.

Despite the zetec. There's still NO excuse for the wheels. Nice set of series 2 RS turdo wheels would be fine.

They're just a bit.. obvious. Not a criticism, it's not my car. XR3 rims with modern tyres would do, surely?

If it was just the engine and gearbox fine. But it now looks like something found during Yewtree.

One's an old fashioned, two tone coloured, fuel guzzling heap of rusty fucking rubbish. The other is a Mercedes.

In case you think it can't get any better, let's have a look inside...

Yes, but it has its share of faults and non original interior so probably not a million miles off. Potentially could be a good buy (or complete nail).

I've been watching that with interest. Doesn't seem to be selling for any of the various prices it's been advertised at so either it's much worse than it looks or everyone else is as broke as I am. I reckon if you waved a grand under his nose you might get lucky. Doesn't actually need any welding to drive round in either seeing as it's mercifully sod MoT. So tempting.

I reckon it's worse than it looks. It's been on a few times and I agree, it'd be a lovely old thing to putt about in. But to me it's 5-700. Probably I'm just getting old.

I just wish I could weld, or knew someone who could sort it for me at a reasonable price. One of my favourite cars.

One of my favourite too...indeed, the second car I ever bought...mainly because Felicity Kendal was married to whats his name...and the next door neighbour had one in the "Good Life". Well, 17 year old on £25 per week, meets 15 year old Volvo in need of expensive work did not end well.

Still, nice to see one in maybe doable condition.

I used to have one, but like the complete twit I am I sold it. Get one if you can find one.....

Doesn't have to be a RHD one and you can get one from Eastern Europe for a couple of grand.
