I re-fabricated the boot lid to a Fiesta from Daves Isopon - was GR9 till I slammed it a bit hard one day and chunks of it fell off.

You know those mentals who cut the roof off a car (BINI one from the bargains thread for example) and then sell it for £800 as being in 'great condition' apart from the fact its been cut off the rest of the car?

 

I have a mental image of someone who bought one of those but from a Metro, and then proceeded to painstaking recreate everything from the shoulder-line downwards from scratch. Then sells it for £450 BIN.

 

This pleases me.

WTF even is this? Clearly they made and sent at least two over here as a white one has died to enable this blue-y purple one live another day (though the rust is deeply impressive), plus a generous spares package and a great deal of spiders
