They regularly get some good old chod for sale but I find they tend to overprice a bit.

New POD, my top tip for phone viewing, go down the ebay link to seller's other items and click that, you then find he's after £4250

So about 2500 more than a really decent mk1 mx5.

You'd want to fit a bigger lotus Elise/MGF version of the K series.

It's lovely, not that remote as La Rochelle has a nice little airport, although these days you have to run the roulette of 'will Flybe actually run this flight?'.

Went by TGV as it happens. Le Vieux Greement in La Couarde comes as a recommended hotel :-)

I really don't need another car but an LPG'd Alfa....I do have an Alfa itch I need to scratch. Do you reckon they'd be open to an offer? Such a pretty colour!

I actually came on here to post this https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/454652708400476

2 Austin Maestro vans. Why so many Austin Maestros being sold atm?  :-)

Before I go totally insane, can somebody ID the small red van in the background of these pics?

I'm not the chap for these kind of tasks, but if pushed I'd go for Austin A55? But the grille looks wrong.

I concur, Doctor.  The grille might look wrong because two kinds were used,  Early models had a mean little mouth, later ones got a full-width example that included the indicators.  Make that four kinds, because a Morris would have straight bars, an Austin would have them crinkled.

I'd love this Alfa myself as always liked the 145/6 but we haven't the space at the minute and to be honest we got enough projects here that need finishing.

It unlikely with Albert Looms price wise but sometimes it depends who you speak too. Matt I think who normally works at the front Gate Office might be the one to speak too.

I did buy a car off them about 8/9 years ago that was about to be scrapped for £250. A Renault 19 GTS-X. Which was well over scrap but it was too nice to see bridged. Was a great feeling driving it out the yard past the scrap pile wish I took pics. Shouldn't have let my brother sell it on after I gave it him!

If I get chance to go over Derby possibly this weekend or next. I'm more than happy to grab some extra pictures / info etc, but I reckon this will sell before I get chance.

Yep, that seems about right, cheers. Couldn't think of a van of that era without a 'roof seam' over the windscreen which was realy throwing me

Great stuff. I'd quote Jonathan Richman....

Well some people try to pick up girls

And get called assholes

This never happened to Pablo Picasso

He could walk down your street

And girls could not resist his stare and

So Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole

Repo Man soundtrack.  Fucking ace!

You like the Circle Jerks too Egg?

Cracker.

EDIT:  I meant this version.....

Repo Man is a right good film like.

One of 300! (its actually at least 400) STS made for the UK! Too bad that only really meant that nobody bought them here.

$_86.JPG

Only photo of it in the ad, the other one was blatantly stolen from the net.
