I love the Irish. I love the culture, the women, the drink, the craic (whatever that is) that tiger thing they had going 20 years ago and - more than anything - I love their unwavering commitment to the saloon car.

The number plate describes the sound I made when I saw it.

Wow that Clio is nice! Shame its not white or brick red or some other dismal flat colour though.

£55,000 for a £600 van with what appears to be £20's worth of spaghetti wiring and just assorted old crap thrown in/on it

Look at the pissing state of it. Looks like a 1960's wardrobe with an Allegro choke cable and a Pifco fan stolen from the top of his local VG shop in 1974.

Apologies for bringing this hunk of junk to the fore but I'm genuinely intrigued. Is there any chance the seller isn't familiar with £sterling, it's almost impossible to imagine that anybody could think it's worth £55,000, there aren't even the facilities to make a cup of tea FFS. Even if there were I wouldn't dare use them, looking at the state of the wiring.

Be like Mr Bollox but a tad newer with this Renault badged Dodge50 horse box needing an unspecified fix to the engine. Looks a decent thing from the 2 pics!

Its at a mechanics in Dorking, if anybody is seriously interested I could go and report on how crispy or not it is.

I also know a yard (near Dorking) who also does repairs, where there are a couple more dodge's

When did these all dissappear? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-80-COUPE/264054298138?hash=item3d7adcd61a:g:cOQAAOSwE3tbOoc1

Lovely colour.

Seller say's he is "not sure" what power this is. Which I guess means it's the gutless and thrashy four cylinder.

At least the interior isn't all black.

Had one of these brand new as a company car back in 89. It was a darker green metallic with beige pinstripe interior. I'd been driving a 2.8i Granny prior to that. Was gutted when my boss arrived from down south to announce he was taking that back. He walked me out to the car park to hand back the keys to it......an the Aldi was parked next to it. I was 23 at the time and he felt it was more fitting for someone my age - bless him. iirc it was the 2.2e.00

I don't think she was all that fussed about Elwood, he was incidental.  It was Jake she was particularly keen to kill.  Until he took off his shades...

So for me, for my mother, my grandmother, my father, my uncle, and for the common good, I must now kill you, and your brother.

One's a huge, ruinous lump of metal that will bankrupt you in record time. The other is a bus, etc
