eBay tat volume 3.

No, it’s supposed to be in the bin where it belongs.

The amount of giffer tat on the outside of that poor Jag is outstanding. Not a single one of those boot badges is original. The bonnet is a mess with that leaper and wonky self adhesive chrome strip. The side trim is of a Daimler or Vanden Plas, the wheels are off an earlier XJ and the septic side markers are just plain wrong.

On the other hand, the interior is glorious and the engine is magnificent.

Non original colour as well. In late 1979 when that was built, the only colours were white, yellow, red, maroon and black plus just one metallic colour, a mid blue.

Here is a sad example of the worlds best car. I hope this lives again.

I still do a scan for these hopeless turds now and then. This 2.0 Dynamique (failry lame spec) one has no MOT but looks dead clean and tidy with low mileage. £300 - Probs would

TWO presentable P6es for €7,000!!

This is a left hand drive, Austrian registered car so I assume the AA badges are just union jacking off. The seller says it doesn't start. But I don't care about that, I want to know if it stops.

Not for long.

What about the other car? The seller says both are well maintained, and it sure looks nice.

This one has been off the road for a while, but it's running. Maybe we can borrow some bits of its brake system to get the yellow one on the road. I wonder why it was taken off the road anyway.

Oh, right, of course.

Whoever wrecked a bike as (once) beautiful as that needs a f*cking good shoeing.

Fair play to the advertiser for not resorting to 'bahn-stormer' in the description

He wouldn't have been seen dead in a Bayerischer Mist Wagen.

But quite happy to challenge the suspension on one.

Maybe not IN...post-17414-0-56716700-1542977520_thumb.jpeg.

Although wheels apart, there's nothing I like about LWB V12 e32's. A 735i was like an overgrown Sportscar that happened to be almost as refined as an XJ40 . A 750iL was no quicker and handled like a W126 .

When they were first announced I hassled our transport manager to get a demo, in the end we got the press car for 2 days, I was so dissapointed I didn't even try to convince my boss, he ordered a 420 SEL ( with JM approved velour!)
