Showed this Mrs BMH, and she said buy it then if you still want one (I had a holbay one I built in the late 70's, early 80's).

A few problems with this,

a) she's had a few pints of cider, and tomorrow my bollocks will be gone if I do buy it when she's 'not as happy'.

B) having lost the lock up and having to sell one of the MGBs, I sadly don't have anywhere to keep it.

c) I've been promising to get the green MGB sorted and on the road for the last 6years.

One day...

That ‘Mod’ Volkswagen van is shocking innit. What a massive TURD. Theres a similar white T5 van lives near me - big wheels, black windows, bonnet bra, loads of vinyl stickers of VW logos, surfboard-related brands (I think), and several eye-wateringly wanky slogans in snazzy fonts (“more than a van….. It’s a way of life”). The guy seems to have forgotten he lives in a dismal terraced house in Kirby-in-Ashfield overlooking a friggin industrial estate.

I don't understand the VW van as lifestyle at all , but maybe if it helps people forget their everyday drudgery it's not such a bad thing.

Obviously I'll still take the piss out of middle-aged suburban surfers* in their overpriced badly blown over ex-builders wagons rolling on scuffed Range Rover Sport alloys.

I've seen some stuff on here...but this...you'd have to be deluded. Its clearly clearly unsafe or am I missing something? Justifiably every traffic cop in the UK would stop you. It must be overweight at the least.

You've got to be right especially as I've just noticed the front is held up with a roof rack!

Oldsmobile Cutlass. Pearoast, presumably Bramz' buyer is a wash out.

£150
Basingstoke

Won't start, has an MOT. I need this gone without fail this weekend or it's getting scrapped.
I lost all mojo with it as it broke before I could even begin to like. It's very scruffy and needs welding but drove fine when it started.
149k. 2.8 V6. Good restoration project for those wanting a cheap yank or spares.
It turns but won't fire. Could be an entire swathe of things that need replacing. No service history.
Interior is decent enough.

Car will need welding to wings and inner sills.

Both Blain (Car) and Barker (Autocar) reckoned the 204 had the best ride of almost any smallish saloon from the 1960s (until the R16 came along, at least) and as I generally trust their judgement on these matters I'm really keen to try one. Helps that they look so damn cool, too
