Remove rear seat, wire up to batteries - result.

That is essentially what a BMW I3 is.

This is giving me the horn for one of these, even though I recall filing them under "modern shit" back in the day (as I smoked around at max 65mph in a knackered Hell-man Hunter 1500DL with 2/3 of the correct compression figures thanks to the bores having steps like Mount Everest)

I'm going to go out on a very rotten and fragile limb and say I quite like how that Rover looks...

That appears to be a proper 1990s RS bodykit on that Escort, wonder if they're worth coin yet.

Also, I was watching The Bill earlier. That MK2 Cav in front of the Escort reminded me.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but my rural 'broadband' connection doesn't permit scrolling back through pages and pages to find out. Sunny with famous past now in a yard in Essex:

1987 Sunny in What Car? 12/88, now for sale by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

The 1988 article was a Used Survey on the FWD 1982-on Sunnys.

Despite the lack of MoT it's probably about the right money for somewhere near the starting bid. Doesn't appear to have much rot, indeed in some areas it looks tidier than mine which has covered just over half the mileage. It'd be a shame if it doesn't sell and ends up being broken, but maybe I should give them a call just in case that happens? I could use a rot-free tailgate.....
