WCPGW ? An £70K car for less than 6K off someone that seems to live in a council house in Bootle.

For some reason I really really want something like this. And given that it ticks none of my actual needs for vehicle ownership, I predict that common sense will prevail.

That's photographed in the ac cars place at the top of the hill climb at Brooklands. I'm not suggesting a midnight heist you understand...

I think it's the same guy who wanted to buy my X1/9 at auto Italia last year ( it's not for sale). Nice chap and gave me his card in case he could change my mind.

From my own observations the cl55 coupes are great, but avoid the amg versions which would appear to be driven by complete wombles. Prices are about the same, but you want one from a retired couple with a large house not a teenager in his parent's.

That does look value.  The seller's even gone to the trouble of taking the petrol station photos so you won't have to...

That ruined Fiero in fake Ferrari bodykit may have been in a barn once but for the last n years it has been outside with a rotting Camaro for company.

Only the Volvo remains as of a week or so ago.

Who will have traded it in at the main dealer because they don't want riff-raff knocking on the door during songs of praise.

Although you do find the occasional ones who just don't sell cars, but only buy new ones. The old ones get left on the drive for a while until they need the room.

With those Cl's the CL500 is 80% of the car for about 30% of the Money.

one of my requirements is not to look like a drug dealer. The other is to be able to get the old people in the back.

There's not a lot of room in the back of a W211, if you're not scared of a V8 , an S430 or 500 would be a better bet- cheaper too. This e500 will have the running costs of an S-Class without the space. A steel sprung e270/320 Dizzler for about £3k would be the best way into an E class. Of this vintage.

Cedric: woof woof.

In other Datsun saloon news, £75 buys you this low mileage but slightly sunburned Sunny with a week or two's MOT.

It's billed as spears or reapers, but apparently it stops & go's (apostrophe is seller's own).

The car will become a classic one day, who's lifetime I'm not sure.

Quite.

For some reason my saved search is throwing up nothing but overpriced G-Wagens and hot Jap action today.

This is £200 with 2 days to go.  It's the 4-wheel steering version too!  Win.

Help punish this person for being too dumb to turn his phone sideways to photograph a long, low car by not paying him more than £300 for it.
