I had a 1300 fwd, I don't remember it being slow and buzzy; having said that it would be well over 30 years ago now and it was one hell of a step up from the 848cc mini traveller that it replaced.Thinking about it, I never got anywhere near a motorway so probably never went over 60mph in it.

The thing about classic car prices is that if the car has got a cool film made about it, like Mini Coopers, or motorsport heritage like Mk2 Escorts, they'll be worth loads.  Obviously exotic stuff will always be expensive, Ferraris and Lamborghinis like.

 

Basically unless you've got one of those things going for you, your old motah is never going to be worth much
