Wow. You took a plane to go to England from Newcastle?

That's some dedication. Good luck with drive home.

Good luck m9, I do find it odd thinking there are grown up people in this country who haven't flown before.

Cue half of Autoshite claiming never to have flown before.

Im knocking on the door of 50 and never flown in a commercial plane (I have flown a micro-lite buddy'd up and in a Cessna, but dont think they count really).

The only car that would make it from the South to the North in the middle of all this SNOKAOS is a Toyota.

Close!

Figured it would be something small and Chuck able for you to travel so far:)

Assuming you are referring to the car?

Ace, the collection thread sensei is back in the game. None of the usual half-arsedness here (ie: picture of breakfast, blurry picture from train window, picture of car, done).

I'm going to have to mark you down slightly though for swanking about in an airplane like you're the Sultan of Bombay or Ian Microsoft or whoever. Why anyone would choose to spend an hour and a half on a plane when they could do the same journey in fourteen hours on five different coaches is beyond me.

All the very best for the remainder of your mission.

I'm 46 and never flown.....................

There better be pics after all this build up! Of the car, I mean.

Ace. Winter is the best time to buy Toyotas and end up fighting snowy conditions in the North East.

Why are you wearing shorts in winter and apparently sitting upside down in your seat? Best way ( but uncomfortable) to this stuff under the dashboard but forwned upon when airborne.

Nice buy.

In another note - whatever happened to Brighton loving Bones96?

Nice to meet you Jim, and have a safe trip back home to The Northtm

The dedication of traveling that far for a car so dull most people wouldn't buy it off their next door neighbour is impressive.

Surely there must have been another similar Yaris available slightly closer to home?

That just is NOT the AS way dude……..

Anyone want an ETA guess for this one? 8.40pm due to OMGSNOKAOS I reckon (Friday of course)

I am afaid of flying and have only ever flown in a plane with one propellor, but I did get to sit in the front and have a go with the controls which stopped me worrying too much about the whole thing. Not sure if I could still land one without breaking it though.

Car is as you'd expect.

It's a French Yaris so it's not as good as a JDM one but still lovely.

Thanks very much Mr Stanky .

That's it from me for a while now.

It's six fundred and plenty miles to the north, I've got two packs of gum, it's sunny and I'm wearing women's sunglasses.
