You've gained a new follower! Came for the Focus but stayed for the Citroen.  I'm looking forward to watching the story unfold.

You need to name the CX "Thierry", then you will have Thierry Henry. ?

Plan at the moment for Eccles the CX is collection will be either late next week or some point the week after, I might price up getting it transported up here then get my friendly local garage to put it through an MOT. Depending on the result of the MOT determines what happens after that.

I have offered @Stinkwheel first refusal of the CX partly due to management still complaining and having given it some thought I'm not sure I will be able to give it the attention it deserves either.

Stinkwheel has declined the CX, if anyone else wants it PM me, if not I will arrange transport for it up here and look for somewhere to store it while I decide what to do with it.

The CX may be getting swapped for a Toyota Corolla.

Corolla not happening, management doesn't want a 3rd car here at all.

A couple of good runs for Henry coming up, Beeston Castle in a week's time then Witley Court the following Saturday, the two trips will put over 500 miles on him.

Treated Henry to some new car mats recently to replace the fucked ones that were in him, finally got round to fitting them today.

Henry's MOT extension now showing up, as I say it's getting done Friday though.

Henry dropped off at the garage, I don't anticipate any problems with the MOT but you never know especially with an older car. There's about 1000 miles worth of trips planned for the next week so he might reach the 200k milestone by the end of next month.

Advisory on 3 tyres plus the EML, which to be fair I knew a couple of the tyres would need replacing soon and the EML.  Not a bad showing for a 13 year old car with nearly 200k on the clock.

Can't complain about that Sam, I'm glad it passed.

3 new tyres fitted and oil and filter changed, just walking to pick Henry up now. Let's hope this luck carries on on Monday when the Purple Peril goes in for its MOT

Henry enjoyed his run out yesterday, just short of 260 miles covered. Plan is to go to Framlingham on Wednesday then next Saturday to Witley Court, stay overnight in Ironbridge then Goodrich Castle on Sunday.

Framlingham trip put back to the end of next month so I can make a mini weekend of it, hopefully I'll get quite a few photos of the area for my site.

Heading back from a nice short break. Henry seems to enjoy twisty A and B roads more than motorways.

Edited to add the twisty B roads from Ironbridge to the A49 were great fun to drive down.

465.2 miles in 2 days, not the most Henry and I have done but still been a nice run. Fast approaching the 200k club.

Henry will be in the Yorkshire Dales next weekend, management and I are going to look at some caves.

Found out a bit about Mk2 Focus trim levels earlier, will write it up properly later but it turns out Zetec Climate isn't the same as Zetec, the difference is apparently the Climate adds a heated front windscreen, which I knew Henry has but hadn't realised it wasn't standard on all Zetecs.

This is what I found out earlier on about Mk2 trim levels.

- Studio ( Radio Cassette, Cloth trim, ABS, PAS, Electric front Windows, Driver and Passenger airbags)

- LX/Style (Studio minus radio cassette plus CD player, air con, central locking)

- Sport (LX plus alloys, front fogs and leather steering wheel)

- Zetec (Sport plus sports suspension, sports seats, body bits, trip computer, perimeter alarm)

- Zetec Climate (Zetec plus heated windscreen)

- Ghia (Sport plus cruise control, thatcham alarm, lumbar support, velour seats, auto lights/wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, vanity mirrors, front and rear armrests, and more storage)

- Titanium (Ghia minus cruise control, plus part leather sports seats, Sony stereo)

There was also the ST as well.
