I made a simple lift out frame and got a bloke on the marina who normally makes covers for boats to knock up a basic load cover for me.

I'm a bit surprised by the vitriol towards the humble old Granvia.  I thought here, of all places, would welcome the bastard love child of a power van and a landcruiser, but each to their own.

 

I too would probably go for a Lexus v8 engine (1uz-fe?) because the fuel economy will be about the same, but the smiles per mile would be much increased!

I did some wikipedia research and it looks like the van this thing is based off of did get a couple V8 engines, so it prolly wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn a Lexus V8 into it
