Fuppin ace in a hideous way. Could you lacquer and then polish? Put some steel wheels on it and it will look even better. Looks like real wood too.

+1 Wood! I have too much :/

All that tree wood mean it dovetails into the fleet....

Might have to do something about those wheels though......

I like that for all the things wrong with this, your problem is the wheels ;)

Its quite brilliant, in a madhat kind of way.

Absolutely detest these sort of things, taking the little curtains out has to be the best thing ever. What's not to not, not like?

We should head in this direction with it perhaps...

Early Hilux wheels rock in my biased opinion.

I was watching your cut down one back in the summer and dismissed it as a bodge job and bought this Hiace instead.

Nice to know it's all good and can get a straight mot every year.

It looks impressive.

Only trouble with a pick up is anything left in the back gets wet or swiped.

I made a simple lift out frame and got a bloke on the marina who normally makes covers for boats to knock up a basic load cover for me.

That is OUTSTANDING.  Will BFO Landcruiser steels fit those 6-bolt hubs?

I may have been speaking to someone who may have suggested that it may be an idea to put a small block Chevy motor in it...............I may have agreed with him........

I'm a bit surprised by the vitriol towards the humble old Granvia.  I thought here, of all places, would welcome the bastard love child of a power van and a landcruiser, but each to their own.

I too would probably go for a Lexus v8 engine (1uz-fe?) because the fuel economy will be about the same, but the smiles per mile would be much increased!

It's not exactly a looker.

Understatement of the year.

Not my sort of thing, but thank god we're all different

Same, is it weird that I actually kinda like this? :)

I did some wikipedia research and it looks like the van this thing is based off of did get a couple V8 engines, so it prolly wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn a Lexus V8 into it
