2001 Suzuki Alto 1.0

28,000 miles from new (MOT's to back this up)

12 months MOT as of yesterday, it'd had failed a couple of weeks ago for the first time ever I think. Needed new wipers and CV joint cover thing, now done and there's no advisories.

Electric windows

Central locking

2xkeys

It's got four Michelin tyres, tread wise they're ok, age wise guessing probably not the newest.

Cam belt roulette (don't know when last changed).

N/s mirror has cracked glass.

Not sure how reliable the fuel gauge is.

Aerial but no stereo!

No power steering.

Actually quite tidy for the age and doesn't appear messed about with.

£450 outright or £8.50 a ticket?

£399 or £7 per ticket?

Chester, Cheshire.

Ideal first car for a new driver!

You would think so wouldnt you? But the perverse laws of insurance mean this is £2500 to insure third party on a black box policy whereas a 16 plate Citroen C1 is £850 fully comp for a new driver with no NCD. Ask me how I know :/

Cambelt roulette - but it might be non-interference? Not sure of exact 993cc variation in this car.

Oh my.

Two tickets in the unlikely event it's not snapped up by someone and it goes to ROOFLE.

Not my thing usually but I bet that's a real hoot to drive. Also I love the simplicity of that engine bay. Reminds me of a modern version of a BMC Mini.

It would be the type of car that you'd get bullied by every other motorist on the road though.

I would definitely have tickets. Autotesttastic

That's well fit, love the seat fabric. I'll break my roffle ban for a couple if it comes to it.

Got my winter car for this year but can you get something like this in about October next year? Many thanks

Damn haha was hoping you'd by some miracle not sell it until the New Year

Hopefully a similar bargain will come along then

That's a relief, for a while I was worried that I might have bought it in my sleep.
