danthecapriman Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Great to see REV coming home @LightBulbFun! Can’t wait to see it doing its thing on London’s streets. REV must be one of the most famous Invacar’s ever after all this, along with @dollywobbler one. bobdisk, Landy Mann, jon.k and 3 others 4 2

I dont think one can drive up to and park outside of 10 downing street for example! but maybe I can sneak her in front of the gates of Buckingham Palace? it does not look *too* pedestrianised? Expand Best time for that is in the summer very early - say 6.00am especially on a weekend - or Christmas/New Year when London outside the shopping streets is very quiet. One of my my neighbours is a political press photographer - if I see him I'll ask if he has any tips. It's all certainly possible with a photographer set up - though Downing Street is gated. Be good to get it set up with one of the original Routemasters still running on Route 15? But that could be set up at the garage with a bit of blagging. There is also the opportunity to bring it into town on the day of the veteran car run one November. There are also other car events in Central London occasionally - I recall one on Regent Street.
