As you all know, I won this barge a couple of weeks ago, after having a cheeky punt. I fancied scratching the Jag itch, but not enough to buy one with my own money!! Luckily for me, I won, and eventually collected it. 200+ miles home came and went in utter comfort, absorbing potholes after pothole as if they weren't there. However, it's just not me. Maybe I'm just too used to smallish coupes with harsh suspension. Maybe there's still a boy racer trapped inside that wants another hot hatch. I don't know, but I just can't gel with it.

 

So.... Rather than off it to some wannabe millionaire on gumtree, I really think it deserved to stay in the fold. After having a bit of positive feedback for the idea on the original thread, I've decided to raffle it on at £10 per ticket.

 

I've taken some more pics, which are probably poorer quality than those originally posted, but they're here. Car is MOT's till August, showing 117000 miles. Drives lovely, minor knock from rear end. Bit of lacquer peel. Would also like to keep fancy stereo, but will re-fit original Jag one.

 

Tickets £10 each, usual rules apply. Collection from Westhoughton, near Bolton. Nearest station Daisy Hill, although can collect from airport/rail/bus etc. Also may be able to help out with shitely type part ex/collection/deliveries, if time and shifts allow.

Fantastic, tickets will be sold out in no time at all and we can get this show on the road! Just as excited as last time!! This week I drove an XJR of the same vintage as this. The chassis is basically the same the sport I guess and looks basically the same. If that is not enough incentive to partake, I don’t know what was. Seriously X300 XJR is the most enjoyable drive I have ever had (even if it was quite broken).
