Rather than cluttering up the main forum with a crap thread, does anybody have an adapter to connect a 'double plug' Vauxhall stereo loom to a 'single plug' ISO socket on the back of a modern stereo?

I thought the double plug Vauxhall effort was the modern ISO stereo connection. It certainly was the last time I looked, although the last time I looked was about 2005.

Posted

That's the Sony connector. The ISO you see in Vauxhalls comes in every modern car. Car radio manufacturers haven't cottoned onto standardisation yet. The manufacturers do it, and then the radio makers ruin everything.

Will people stop asking me how big my box is and READ the fecking item description please.

The maps are quite old (2001 I think?), but it's not a major problem in daily use. You can get updates from TomTom but these are £££.

Just like a TomTom to use but with one exception - you can't do a full postcode search, only the first 5 digits, so you need to know the road name. It still allows you to pick the building number (or nearest junction) though. Again, not a major hassle. It does need a new battery though if it's not going to be used regularly, but these are cheap (£12 from eBay).

I can't see it going for very much at all TBH, but it's not a bad bit of kit. You can also Bluetooth your phone to it.

You can also Bluetooth your phone to it.

Could you use Bluetak as an alternative?

Anyone want a rabbit hutch which sits over a run and has a ramp up to the hutch?

I also have an indoor bunny cage (also suitable for guinea pigs) which cost £55 on it's own.

Fifty quid the pair collected from West Cheshire, pictures will be added if anyone's interested.
