The best colour too. Want because of gollum change, freewheel, V4 noise and those funky headrests like 3/4 of a rubber 8.

Flipping heck, that's fab. Well bought.

I think I know that car. The owner stopped for a chat with me while I was fixing my S3 Land-Rover a couple of years back. It looked very straight. It's been for sale on Car and Classic website for at least a couple of months. It's always harder to sell cars in NI as it's quite a small market. Trust you had a nice drinkie in The Crown. It's a lovely pub and being a bit of a tourist trap you met a very interesting range of people.

As said earlier, that is a superb purchase. However, we need some shots of the interior too, the seats are absolutely mental.

This sort of thing makes me feel embarrassed to even be here.  I need to stop paddling in the shallow end, grow a pair, and buy something proper.  Well bought, man.

I still have unfinished business with Saabs. That looks bloody excellent, well done.

Looks great. Ideal choice for a collection mission in the current weather.

That is gorgeous! Well bought.

Can’t think of many better ways to travel in shit cold weather than an old Swede either.

I've sent my grovelling apologies to Conrad ref the P6 and promised to collect as soon as im back at work.

haha and I haven't replied because I'm trying to compose a message where I don't sound pissed off.

Which would be a bloody tough thing to accomplish all the bloody shafting considered.

I can hardly clad in appropriate lyrics my disapproval of like Conrad, and thus the entire GGG, has been treated in a recent attempt to sell a P6V8.

A term rhyming with 'fuck off' comes to mind.

I so hope that that fucking dismal IKEA you bloody indeed bothered collecting will grenade.

Fucking Clowns. I shit on you.

Right.

My side of the story. !!!!!!

Myself and Brodders did indeed agree to purchase Conrads P6 at £2000

I offered substantial deposit sight unseen on the car to confirm intention. This was not accepted. Due to time constraints collecting I again offered a deposit which was turned down

The Saab had been agreed and flights booked before P6 agreement, you don't think I'd go out on a collection to NI in this weather ad hoc.

A few days ago I offered full payment for the Rover bank - bank again unseen

From me a couple of days ago.

Peter.

I'm hugely embarrassed over delay in collecting. Whilst I'd offered deposit. I'm happy to pay in full. And collect soonest. I'd hate you think Brodders and I were arsing you around.

I think he's as pushed for time

I've a collection today which has been booked even longer than yours. I'm away next week but week after free for whole week.

If you heave your bank details I'll send you whole amount and I'll square up with Brodders.

Keith.

What offering to pay £2000 in full, in advance , for a car I hadn't seen, from a person I've never met. I feel that's a pretty justifiable excuse.

Okay, I didn't mean to kick off any forum drama.

I refused a deposit twice because I don't need deposits from forum members. If someone says they're committed, that's good enough for me.

It was never about the money. I sold the car because I needed a more usable replacement, which I can't buy until this one has gone.

You bought the car on 6th Feb on the phone. On the 13th I asked for your plans and was promised a collection the next week. On the 18th you arranged a collection for the 21st, but when I texted you the day before I got no response. Then Brodders got in touch to ask if you could collect the week after.

On the 26th I assumed the sale had vaporised and told Brodders I would keep the car. He left you a voice mail about it.

Now you are asking to collect the week after next. That will be six weeks after the sale.

Also, that Rover is one of the most exhaustively documented cars on this forum being sold by someone who's been a member since 2006 and known personally by many other members. It's not the same as blind buying a car through eBay.

What a lovely Saab - checkout mustie1 on youtube - he rescues one thats been sat for 30 years from a garden then his friend (forget the name of his youtube channel) documents a full restoration on the car....worth checking out...
