Letter from the finance part of Octagon Insurance, I suddenly don't owe them £203.34 - BIG MISTAKE.

Took it to the bank after work today and they agreed it was them hand braking out of a tight spot as they know they've arsed up so they've bashed some keys on the computer and sent off to reclaim the £145

they took without my signature on the credit agreement.

I'll be sending a copy to Octagon tomorrow saying that they can swivel for the £57.88 cancellation fee for a policy they started on a car I didn't own - they keep banging on about having to tell them not to start it but it's a bit hard when they cut you off as they are busy all the time.

One of these days I'll meet one of you lot and you'll be an absolute arsehole and it'll make a refreshing change.

That's probably me.

I live in Newcastle and you are welcome any time.

Wear your best trilby pls.

My neighbour rescued an injured vole the other day, that was picked on by a cat, or magpies, or something.

He nursed it back to health, and wanted to release it back into the wilderness today, but it just delivered five little ones.

You are pre-allegations Rolf Harris AICMFP.

Do update us if it eats one or succumbs to its injuries.

Can't find a May calendar dump thread, and didn't want to start one in case magic internet pixies would be offended by my presumptuousness, but this has to be CONTENDAH.

Picked a Miele up from some old blokes house last night. Forgot why I was there whilst eyeing up his very nice series 3 on the drive. Forgot even more when he walked me down his garden to a shed the size of our house, full of landy parts. He said he had another unit like it but was easing off on it all and ebaying most of it.

Sadly he didnt take as good care of his hoover, which 'worked fine'

Mummy mouse fucked off sharpish so we had to run over to our local animal sanctury as we couldnt feed them, and my suggestion of throwing them in the woods and letting nature take its course didnt go down well

where they got sent straight into Triage to have their stats taken and be fed. Fuck me they had a better time and faster service than when I last went to Stoke Mandeville!

Brightened up my evening anyway. Shame the vac was fucked and is now a parts job!

If this stops stinking so much of piss I may try and get it running but cant be arsed atm

Had to pop to Rolls Royce yesterday on a work related thing. Was expecting to be told to go round the building to find the outdoors area that I needed to to look at. But no, myself and my colleague (who is a massive MG fan, and writes on occasion) had a mini tour, including going via the factory floor to our destination and back.

Everything was squeaky clean! Apart from the scrap shells around the back that they'd been doing paint tests on and things.

Mother well, three little ones alive and thriving. Two remained very little and died.

No photos yet, since neighbour believes human interference might cause mother to reject children.

Missus used the 306 dizzler for work yesterday.

I asked "how it was rolling round in luxury?"

"Everyone looks at me funny in it"

Just renewed the car insurance.

£109 cheaper than last year, seems turning dirty thirty has it's advantages.

Hooray for self control.

Was very, very tempted by a dog of a bronze Audi 100 Avant on the bay. It finished at £343 but would have been a mare to store and I don't have the money.

Still wouldn't mind a 100 Avant though - it's a proper Audi, of sorts.

A proper Audi is a 60, or a 75.

Not buying a car just because you have neither storage, nor money, is just miserable, though.

It was bin day today.  We all put our wheelie bins out in the back alley, and when the wagon comes, they all get tipped in one by one.  Sometimes a bit of rubbish spills out, and nobody ever clears it up, oh no...

Today walking the dog I noticed two bits of black leather left behind.  With a bit of logical deduction, I reckon they are the blindfold and mouthpiece that come with a bondage hood, that clip on with press-studs.  So who's the perv in my street, and who with?  Hmmm, a mystery!  Send for Scooby-Doo!

If you do want one I have a garage full of spares as the person who bought Auswitch from Volksy a few weeks ago has never come to pick them up. Free to anyone who has a good use for them (although 50% of it might not be of any use - you have to take it all).

Was it this one?

This makes me happy (only that has so far) although I've always been a 'cat' man, I do have weakness for mice which strangely comes from when I fancied this Polish girl who was a quite mouse-like.

Tomorrow I am up at silly o'clock to steer a chum's 1930 Foster steam tractor from Staffordshire to Wirksworth in Derbyshire for a rather special, laid back event which is shaping up to be quite a spectacle. If anyone fancies seeing 16 traction engines hard at work on the road, with no doubt a few other vintage jalopies as "support", get yourself to the Cromford/Matlock/Wirksworth area on Saturday for The Wirksworth Assessment Trial... aka T.W.A.T

As amusing as T.W.A.T. sounds, everyone who is anyone this weekend is gonna be west of the border.
