In the last few days Google Street View has updated it's maps in my area, fortunately it was back in July on what looks like one of the best days this year, although it looks like i was out at work that day I was pleased to see this Ford Zephyr (I think) at the end of my road that i haven't seen before.

Drift Tractor. 100% Safe, fact.

Oh yeah, one of my crazy Finnish farmer friends posted that on FB yesterday. Mental! Finns are pretty fearless - 'Sisu'.

What, the plastic bonnet?

And I think the plastic bootlid in the car. I could do with that sun-visor too.

It is an AX, I knew it wouldn't take long. It's a 3 door though, you can tell because it doesn't have door handles.

I take it all back about fucking celebs in jungle shows. Mrs the stag watches this shit and I am reading.... Until I heard Helen Flanagan and that mp woman having to eat camel toe.

2 seconds of amusement in a series has got to be worth it?

I've got a rear indicator bulb out.

Not much to grin about?

Well in addition to the warning light on the dash, and the double speed clicker on that side I found that the car flashes the tailight to make up for it!

How cool is that?

Also, Layer Cake is on the telly.

And I have a selection of rum finish whiskys in front of me.

And I may be going to the Balvenie distillery next week.

Brrr, that bloke reminds me of the sort of willfully thick punter I used to have to 'help' in my call centre days.

RR is an unintentional comedy goldmine at the moment.

That tit with the Sunny Coupe that'll do 151 mph and he's not hearing any arguments because he was brought in a family of mechanic's [sic] and has all the FACT'S [sic]. What a cock.

Cheers that was fun, the pawnage at the end was brillant.

I hopes someone pm's him and asks him back on the thread.

finding out today my ex girlfriend who buggered off a while back left me right in the shit and let our flat get reposessed, has paid off the mortgage shortfall - 23 grand!

No idea how shes found that kind of money - nott heard a word from her in three years but got a letter today from the mortgage co to say she's cleared the lot. Sweet! No more debt collectors chasing me.

Lesson learned though - no more joint mortgages for me - not that I'd be likely to get one anytime soon I imagine!

Edit: 'I was bought up in a family of engineers and scientists and i'm just letting you know your car is defying the laws of physics'

:lol::lol::lol:

Funny. There's something amusing about defying the laws of physics in a shite Nissan- had an F reg 1.6LX Bluebird saloon- CA16S 8v carb model. Not sure if I had a following wind or if the stretch of road was downhill (shouldn't have been it was out over marshland) but I had it to 135 on the speedo at about 5500 RPM. Judging by the GPS readings at lower speeds it was fairly accurate (let's say I made it to 125) that's still "impossibru!" for a motor with a book peak power output of 85hp... yet it did it and still had more to go. Probably another 5-10mph over what it was doing. The engine was in rude health though with the valves set, timing cock-on etc. To this day I have no idea how it managed to go that fast. I'll claim it didn't and only made the factory top-speed of what, 93(?) instead to save argument.

Talking of which I've just found a message from that lad on my R-R inbox thing:

'Thanks,The thing is that I concentrate my mind on practical issues and the satisfaction of old fashioned hard earned graft in overcoming problems.

All I've tried to do is build a halfdecent ride from stuff which by now would have been turned into Chinese takeaway parcels or potnoodle spoons. I know what most members on this site are choosing and although potnoodles are tasty after twenty minute and a cup of tea it's forgotten

If you think my TFMoggy is crap then plaese say so. No hard feelings

ATB Jonny'

I have to confess I haven't a clue what he means by that (i.e whether he's having a dig or not) but his (car) work seems exceptionally good. Unless he's wrecked a lowlight Morris in which case I won't be so happy.
