Jeff Stelling from Sky Sports. Surely the greatest programme host of ever?

Please no, he was decent 5+ years ago when he was more impartial/unbiased. Was always amusing seeing him trying to cover up his disappointment when Hartlepool had lost and the like. Now they've turned it into some sort of Pantomime. It is good that they have more cameras at grounds on Soccer Saturday now though. Dean Windass is a my new favourite reporter.
I'm a big fan of Chris Kamara.
+1Kamara is a star, I'd love to meet him. Always full of energy/enthusiam and comes across as genuinely funny.Stelling is the same, I love all the Hartlepool references and the wait whilst we see whether they've scored or the team they are playing have.Windass seems a good laugh and LeTissier is entertaining too.Bryn Law on the other hand is a weapons grade gobshite and even more hateful than John 'biased and boring' Thompson.

Stelling was on top form yesterday - singing the theme tune from The Sweeney when Sweeney equalised for Hartlepool.Agreed re. Le Tiss, good egg.

Fish keeping.Ok, it's a sodding chore keeping on top of the tanks/doing weekly water changes etc but I still get a great deal of pleasure from the fish and I've done bloody well with my marine tank this last few months.

Not sure if I've mentioned him before but:Reginald D HunterJust caught a bit of him on some lie/truth comedy panel game thingy with Rob Brydon (who I don't much like). Reg D is comedy gold though. :D

Yes, Kamara is an old favourite. Le Tiss is probably the best studio reporter although there's a few decent ones. I enjoy Pete Baraclough's outside reports as he doesnt seem to know what's happening/who's playing and has to write everything down.. Did you mean Phil Thompson? If so I totally agree. Johnny Philips bloody annoys me, mainly because of his looks..

Sorry, it was Phil Thompson. He's an annoying scouse wanker and typical of their own (Liverpool) fans who think trading on ancient history makes them a force to be reckoned with now, when in actual fact they're shite.

Couldnt agree more. I hate Liverpool FC & their fans.

No 1 son announced last Monday he didn't want to go through another winter on his bike and was going to put in for his car theory test.Well the sneaky bugger only went and took it this afternoon and passed! :D I am now trying to instill the virtues of shite on him instead of getting up to his eyeballs in debt. I should be OK as one of his mates drives a 93 Proton and the other a 70s VW held together with gaffer tape and bailing wire

Last night the Polo’s heater fan stopped working. I spent the 15 minutes driving home thinking about where I’d get a new switch from, or motor, or ballast resistor, or could I wire it on full speed all the time, or…. And how it’s cold outside and getting dark, and how I didn’t want to be poncing about with the car tonight, with lots of swear words in between.Got home, switched off the engine, turned on the ignition and the fan switch and went for a prod about under the bonnet. Ballast resistor: nothing hanging off. Motor: no smell of burnt motors. Fusebox: all fuses look ok, I’ll just give them all a prod in turn. *wrrrrrrrrrrrrr*Bend the fuse contact a bit, put the fuse back in, go in the house. That’s my kind of repair. How can a 1987 Polo with 135,000 miles be this reliable?

Finding out my poorly TDCi Focus had a sticky butterfly valve in the inlet manifold and not a knackered fuel pump. Yay!

Right with you there. They are, in my humble opinion, THE worse set of supporters in the world bar none.In fact to give you an idea of my absolute and utter loathing for them I despise them more than Wrexham, and believe me that's almost unthinkable.

LOL. I'm a proud Liverpool fan and will always be :)It's Man U and Chelsea I dislike. Don't particularly dislike any teams fans, en masse. Man City becoming rich has pissed me off a bit, as City fans were the only ones out there who hated Man U as much as we do.

My missus and her dad are Liverpool 'fans' ditto a few mates and scores of bindippers at work . What REALLY rankles is when they bleat on about their precious 'history', which is mostly anicent history of course, and how after two wins and a draw in the first four games of a season they are all of a sudden going to win the league and everything else put before them.Reality check: only Liverpool fans care that they won a cup in 1977 and 1979 (or whenever it was), only Liverpool fans assume they will defiantely win everything going just by turning up. Oh, and only Liverpool fans could take years to realise their manager is a hopeless, clueless moron who puts all his eggs in one basket (Champions League) and not have a plan B when that fails.Let's not forget their favourite excuse of the last efw years though, that Chelsea 'bought their way to the league title etc'. Yeah, Chelsea have had obscene amounts of cash thrown at them but 99.9% of the players they got were fantastic. What Liverpool fans seem to forget is that they were one of the richest clubs in Britain for light years, spent the most money in the previous 2 seasons in the Premier League and yet have won sod all of note for bleeding ages. Big team? My arse they are. They're trading on past glories and about as big as threat to United and Chelsea to the Premier League title as I am to 'international male model of the year'Right, I've runied the 'what makes you happy thread' now sorry so I'll go back on topic:Liverpool losing makes me ecstatic.Billy Bitter,Chester,Cheshire.

Sod all other than the Champions League, that is ;)

Which was how long ago now and why do some people still have 'Liverpool, champions of Europe' stickers in their cars? Sometimes, as painful as it may be, you have to let go of the past!Anyhow sod them, far bigger fish to fry. It looks my beloved Chester City have bitten the dust. Couldn't play Tuesday night as coach and players not paid plus only had nine team members and the big derby against the great unwashed goatblowers Wr*xh*m on Sunday is off as Chester can't afford to pay for the police. What made me grin?Watching Chester beat Leeds Utd 3-0 and Newcastle 1-0 in 1974/5, then making the semi-finals of the League Cup before losing over two legs to Villa. Many drunken home/away days, surprise results in cup games, meeting a lot of my mates at the ground and 40-odd years (on and off) of following a bloody awful team but having a laugh along the way.

I used to work virtually next door to Chester City on Bumpers Lane.I'll say no more about footy on 'ere.... it's upsetting the natives :P

First up, selling a load of records on eBay. Despite having owned them for 20+ years I felt no remorse, and the money has been of use in what has been a rather challenging month financially - paid for some bits and bobs on the Camry at least. Best of all, I got paid without any grief for every single one of them, and the feedback thus far suggests they've been arriving to good reception.Second, the Camry itself. Worst journey tonight that I can recall for A Very Long Time - super-slippery conditions meant I could do little more than 25 all the way home. Yet I could just plonk it on 4th or 5th and it just grumbled along without a splutter (which is odd, as it has been a bit fussy on that until tonight). Sometimes I was doing 900rpm, most of the time 1100-1200. Even when I got stuck in a traffic jam on a country road a mile or two from home, making my usual 30 minutes-or-so journey take an hour-and-a-half, I felt so relaxed in it I just didn't care. A few issues due to its long period of being out of use gave me a few concerns to start with, but just like the estate grew on me I'm really warming to it now.

Meeting people at motorway service stations and swapping cars. Must look well dodgy to any onlookers but it's something I've been doing a lot of recently and I have to say I really enjoy it.I think I'm doing my bit for Autoshite as I've had some right fucking clankers/unloved shite and it always makes me smile.Met a lad tonight and did a bit of a deal on a car so it's yet another shitemobile off my list of 'crap to have one day' :D

I tell you whats made me happy, the amount of tat around Basingstoke at the moment is ridiculous! In the past 3 days Ive got 12 pictures. Im just building it all up for a big update on my spotting thread.....

Totally unrelated to Shite, but in amongst a very stressful day dealing with the border agency and trying to do a accreditation assesment for the school someone showed me this...Made me smile!

Adeva? I used to work there. Most annoying footy fans. Man U(re) by a long way. Just the way they refer to the club as "we" makes my piss boil.To get back to happy, although I'm not a massive footy fan, going to Marseille to watch Bolton in the UEFA cup was quality.

All football fans do that don't they? As if they have any control over the eleven overpaid foreigners running around after a ball.

Quite a few, but it's the way they think they're really involved in the whole thing, when they're sitting in the pub watching a home game that any fan as good as they think they are would actually be there.
