WTF has happened to this Golf in Cramlington

Posted

THat is surely the epitome of polishing a turd. He's achieved the seeminly unachievable by making an awful car look even worse.

And his Fiasco's got Lexarse lights, a sure sign of a chav if ever there was one. I hope his Golf has those Chinese Dragon/Blackpool bargain shop seat covers, usually favoured by blokes in their fifties who are down with the kids, yo.

-----BREAKING NEWS-----

Toomey Nissan Southend have sold....one JUKE

This stiletto white, 60 plate monstrosity has been spotted on several occasions in the Shoeburyness area, complete with a bleached blonde footballer's wife type at the wheel. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution due to bouts of uncontrollable LOLing that will occur upon sighting this JOKE :D:D:D

Being a contrary bugger, I quite like the Juke. At least it's not a bland amorphous blob like most cars in 2010.

nope, it's a ridiculous looking blob like most other Nissans...

At least the Juke tries to look a bit daft instead of trying desperately to imitate the duller end of the German market. I'd never have one, but they're not aimed at me.

I think I've mentioned this before, but they remind me of the Citroen Belphegor lorry. It's nice to be reminded of a mentalist Citroen lorry.

I've been saying that about the Lib Dems for years, they could promise anything they wanted because they were never going to have to follow it through- until now.

In 1992 one of their canvassers stood between me and my tea. That's not something I can forgive in a hurry.

There was a beavertail Belphegor at the bubble car museum. Wonderful bit of design.

I am very pleased this evening, doubly so, as I've just bought a P reg K11 Micra for £75, tax til the end of the month and test til may, and it turns out the clutch it needs is the same as the K10 1200 one I already have! Bonus! :D

Well done. I haven't seen anything really cheap recently, even rotten old shite attracts a £200 price tag usually "I can get that by weighing it in init"

I like to think Citroen carried out compulsary drug tests at interviews for design positions: if it came up positive, you got the job.

Hell, yes! 8)

CX has met its reserve on the bay! Still 8 days to go. Just hoping this doesn't all descend into twuntishness. It's an odd sale. Part of me will be sad to see this marvellous machine go while the other part of me is pleased because I really, really, really fancy something not French to add to my French fleet.

I'm baffled by that too. Showing as reserve met in 'My Ebay' but gone from all the searches. Odd!

EDIT - I did add to the description. Would that take it out of the searches?

it can remove it from searches for about an hour or so

Ah, thanks autofive. As you can tell, I'm not an ebay regular! Now, as the Landy I had my eye on has sold, I think I'd better get back to the 'bay and start scouring for cheap Jags instead... (X300 please). Or Fiat Coupes. Or Vauxhall Chevettes. Gawd knows what I'm actually going to end up with!

Oh, they start early around here! The UK record holder is a local lass who became a granny at 28. Yup, she got knocked up at 13, so did her daughter.

Househunting. Or in particular, finding a house that ticks nearly all of the boxes, as follows...

Cheaper rent than the one we're in... tick.

3 bedrooms... tick.

Walk-in shower... tick.

Kitchen not open-plan to the lounge... tick.

Single storey... tick.

Detached... tick.

Nearer to Paphos, and consequently less steep for cycling... tick.

Nearer to local shops... tick.

Swimming pool... tick.

Pleasant and co-operative landlord/lady... tick.

Car space... BIG TICK! Huge yard, with a 17 metre by 9 metre concrete pad in one corner on which I can erect whatever kind of workshop I want.

It doesn't have an en-suite to any of the bedrooms, but I think we will survive that. I'm sure I'll be posting pics of the workshop facility sooner or later...
