Part of me will be sad to see this marvellous machine go while the other part of me is pleased because I really, really, really fancy something not French to add to my French fleet.

Ah, thanks autofive. As you can tell, I'm not an ebay regular! Now, as the Landy I had my eye on has sold, I think I'd better get back to the 'bay and start scouring for cheap Jags instead... (X300 please). Or Fiat Coupes. Or Vauxhall Chevettes. Gawd knows what I'm actually going to end up with!

Oh, they start early around here! The UK record holder is a local lass who became a granny at 28. Yup, she got knocked up at 13, so did her daughter.

Househunting. Or in particular, finding a house that ticks nearly all of the boxes, as follows...

Cheaper rent than the one we're in... tick.

3 bedrooms... tick.

Walk-in shower... tick.

Kitchen not open-plan to the lounge... tick.

Single storey... tick.

Detached... tick.

Nearer to Paphos, and consequently less steep for cycling... tick.

Nearer to local shops... tick.

Swimming pool... tick.

Pleasant and co-operative landlord/lady... tick.

Car space... BIG TICK! Huge yard, with a 17 metre by 9 metre concrete pad in one corner on which I can erect whatever kind of workshop I want.

It doesn't have an en-suite to any of the bedrooms, but I think we will survive that. I'm sure I'll be posting pics of the workshop facility sooner or later...
