A friend of mine's gone off on holiday with her new fella, yet she's still found time to send me a couple of quality spots:

Woke up this morning to snow, not much, and it was gone quickly. It DOES NOT snow where I live.

Then took the aging Mazda for it's test and it passed again   :-)  :-)

I bet it isn't but I do hope that's 6x4 not 6x2.

Surprised to see that's still on the road, but showing as T&T till next year. There's lots of pictures of this around , some in worse condition, some better. I seem to remember it might have been built by Ford originally, the shape of the extra window etc certainly looks quite professional and not the square Perspex held in with van window rubbers a home brew would be more likely to have.

^^

The short side-window looks a lot like the rear side window on the converted Mk4 Zodiac estates. Maybe. Possibly a Crayford conversion to use up all those windows they had lying around? Waste not want not.

Not so much grin, more roar with laughter - following a Pink Bentley Bentayga earlier today. If anything said "cheap, tacky and tasteless" that's it. Amongst certain groups in our "look at me" world it will be the object of desire and that just makes it funnier (and sadder).

Mrs BN asked me how much it would have cost and when I told her they were £150k-ish her reaction was "so I could buy one easily, but why would I be so foolish?".

Everything is going to be OK! I have zero Vel satis faults right now.

I might just stick it in for MOT whilst everything is working

Had to pop home at lunch as Amy's locked her house keys in her friends house who is away after feeding her geese, cats and ducks. On the way I got flashed out of L3 by the queen! (well, her fucking huge motorcase..3 bikes half a mile infront, then 5 bikes, her car, range rover, 4 black vans, 2 audi's and 3 more bikes at the rear...

Did joke when I got back to the office that I should have pulled back out behind her and lent over towards the passenger footwell but if I had I probably wouldn't be here typing this now...

Then coming back into marlow I saw a fucking immaculate D reg 2cv in caramel brown with a brown vinyl striped roof! Driven by an old lady too, I had lovely visions of her owning it since new etc

Take it to the garage and plug it in as the diagnostic system has a major fault!

About the car polishing that I kept forgetting to reply to, then when I thought about it had been deleted? Yes. I'll wait for Amy to go to work tonight and type out a reply based on what I used to know and stuff I'll research on the fly

It's just lulling you into a false sense of security, tomorrow you'll start it up and it'll be like this:

Cool just checking as my PMs seem to be a bit hit or miss at moment.

My £50 Rover 25 has just passed its MOT with no advisories. Not bad for a car that was bought to break,it came with 6 months MOT,so I thought I'd use it until it ran out & then scrap it.Total cost spent on it so far,a couple of quid on bulbs(plus £20 on an MGF steering wheel) :-)

Tomorrow's collection of Holbecks Audi 80 for tomorrow- even better when it works out well with a race I'm doing up his neck of the woods and I have spare drivers in my van
