the only way to get your photos the right way round straight out of a phone is to either get your subject to move 90 degrees anticlockwise or to use a series of mirrors.

Richie seems to have been polishing my old xantia, wish I had, it looks to have come up very well! Apparently it's being saved and he's using his more fucked white estate as a donor

My word. That looks a different car.

Good news about it being saved.

That's why I held onto it for a month or two for him, I didn't want to be the one to frag it (although I'd have given it away for spares had it come to it) ! The plan was to use this as a donor for his, but he found crash damage on his, plus the paintwork falls off when washed etc.

I led him and Steve to the pez station when he got it and he remarked how fast it was compared to his standard one... Hehe

I went to asda on the way to work and bought some shorts, glad I did now!

+1 on the aircon, the gooner is the first car since my Puma to have it, and it's ice cold! Although I never used the Puma's A/C as it was fucked and if I turned it on whilst idle/dropped to idle with it on the engine stalled... so I stopped using it

I had use of a Jeep for a while that had it, it made the scary MPG even worse...

So the Saab is the first car I've owned with working A/C (since this morning), it's bloody lovely!

Just been to the local Municipality Office to pay the property tax(council tax)

Place looks like a Job Centre from the early 90's, with it's open plan set up

Ended up forking out £19 for the whole year.....Yep....£19

Water bill is coming in at around a fiver a month, electric is a tenner...

Phone,tv and superfast bband is £12 a month

Biggest problem at the mo is trying to find a decent 4x4 whilst they're still cheap

Not missing the UK in the slightest

Saw a young guy learning to drive in a Wolseley Hornet this morning. Nice to see someone learning in a fun, unassisted car that you really have to drive.

I have an enormous grin coz my 29 year old pug van sailed through, I repeat SAILED THROUGH, the mot today with one advisory, ONE ADVISORY. Body has SLIGHT corrosion. Ha ha he he. That's three years in a row. Only another 11 years to free road tax.

Working aircon.

I bought a "portable" aircon unit for the house, didn't realise the bastard would weight 51kg. I digress - it's amazing. 21 degrees here in the attic whereas it was 31 last night. Shamone!

Heading home from Slough, there was a little old lady whose Polo had failed to proceed and was blocking the place up. 4pm, Friday before bank holiday on the way to the M4. You can imagine.

Lobbed the hazards on and hopped out, as did a guy coming the other way. Pushed her into a little turning. She said she had breakdown cover, and at that point the cops turned up in their van to see what the jam was.

So, H8RS, I hope the idea of a BMW driver and a chap in a new, resale grey Audi S-Line helping get traffic moving has blown your minds ;-)

Starting to get my shite mojo back. With the refurb of this house finally nearing completion, Imp Jr getting older and starting to have more available cash is allowing me to actually spend money and time on my cars.

In two minds about selling the GT6 now as its a better investment than my pension fund. Am going to look for some storage for it for a bit whilst I sort out my other cars and sort it out properly.

I've not run this past Mrs Imp yet though. She will probably want me to sell it to fund an extension or something but thats my current plan.

This means good things for a car I've not even laid eyes on in years.

I hope its still there.

Mrs Beard has, for the first time we have been together (33 years) taken a real interest in one of our cars. As in not just driving it and leaving the rest to me.

Said car is due an MOT next week and I mentioned to her that it needs two new front tyres. Rather than "yeah, ok. Better get em done then" She reported that she will be a bit late home today, as she "is taking my car in for the tyres changing, and am going to the carwash afterwards as its a bit dusty"

That's a first.

She has adopted the car as hers. Makes me smile, and glad! It will be staying then.

Its this one. The Rover 75.

I bloody love Roys.

The McDonalds is inside one of their stores, it's the only non-Roys store there.

Also look out for Miss Roy, for ladies clothes

Completely squeaky clean MOT pass last Monday. From a 12 year old heavy old FWD Volvo that'd spent a year doing a lot of miles on pitted and rutted rural roads, crashing enthusiastically over every single pot hole and bump.

'Any verbal warnings or advice to give?'

'Nope. Very clean car.'

On the downside, there goes literally any excuse whatsoever to sell it. That and being completely broke.
