You're making me angora now...

Aww.. it was my dream to become a Llama Glama Farma one day..

(Look up the scientific name for em;)

The first thing I thought on seeing that picture was that's not a Toyota, it's a Volga.  Only then did I think about llamas.  Does that mean I need therapy?

I was going to make a joke about a Fiat 131 Panollama, but you'll be glad to know I stopped myself.

DollyWobbler's Road tests. Just watched the FE Victor one on Youtube. No "Road Test Bingo" nonsense, he just says what's what. How (relatively) little DW says illustrates the sheer amount of bullshit that the TV people come off with. And I bet they don't know the half of what the folks on Autoshite know about cars.

I've just watched that too. Its really good!!! Nice work Bruce_WobblAr. Particularly like the nice weather and lovely scenery in the background!!!!

Thanks chaps. Well, two of you anyway.  :P

I'm keen to get my hands on more chod for testing purposes. If anyone with suitable chod is planning to go to the Cosford for the Citroen XM/Autoshite meet thing, then I'm all ears.

Would you like to test the Merc when it's back on the road?

:D

Dyane?  205?  No...?

Posted

You may struggle to get me out of a Dyane once I get in one. I seriously fancy one. With those seats, you may struggle to get me in your 205 too. ;)

I'll be there in my C5 if that is a suitable subject Ian.

I fear I might end up spoilt for choice! Or running out of battery power. One of the two.

Went to Daytona Speedway last Friday and took the opportunity for a 3 lap ride along with Richard Petty driving experience. For about $140 you get 3 laps of the circuit and hit speeds of 170 mph along the back straight. Must say I was grinning all the way round. If you're feeling really flushed with cash you can sign up to drive a car too.

Here's me trying to climb into the Chevy thing, which isn't easy when they make you wear a neck brace and you can't move your head at all.

On the train to London earlier, sat in the quiet coach, got to Colchester and some twat got on, sat just across from me and started gabbing in a loud irritating whiny Essex voice to the poor bloke sat next to him about flight simulators and aircraft systems.  Proper nerdy stuff too, too nerdy even for me.  The bloke next to him was politely feigning interest; everyone else in the carriage was doing that very British thing of making pissed off noises and giving a death stare to the back of this twit's head, but not actually saying anything.

Anyway, the train gets to Seven Kings, and the bloke says "looks like we're coming up to my stop".  Turns out he was on his way to Chelmsford for a meeting,  and he was so busy gabbing on that he'd missed the conductor's announcement that the train was non-stop from Colchester to Liverpool Street.  Cue a rather embarrassing phone call to his boss to say he was going to miss most of the meeting.

Schadenfreude.

Chris Goffey is still to this very day, ashamed that he never had the balls to go the full Dollywobbler on his beard style.

They appear four times on this page.

Can't see them on my phone. Will do some digging
