I just bought some gearbox oil and cracked it open so the smell could full the garage. I love the smell of gear oil - it smells like the machines at the Science museum. When I buy my own house I'll have little pots of it sitting around like pot pourri.

That's the one ;)haha and Mr H Sceptre i could take that 2 ways "special" as in the not so clever kind or "special" as with priviledges Not too sure what one you mean though  Shes a nice womanAnd one of her friends is a young gay "shite" collector that she wants me to meet. I did stress that i am straight and it would strictly be for the communication about cars. And then she said "Why don't you two get a garage"which is kind of crazy.I am meeting him on wednesday (She said .. not upto me lol)So will ask of his past collection and if it's right send him in this direction.

Not a keyboard war but a general observation..Tayne,I can't help but see you are rather quick on the band wagon to pick up on anything i say wrong or that you don't agree on.I don't want this turning into a "MGBs are shit" episode, but why don't you do it with others ?Maybe we should meet then you can think what ever you like

I never got that show. Perhaps because I've worked in IT so I know that real life is often funnier than the spoof...

IIRC The board of the Sherpa GT/Convertible/roof chopped Farina owners club were taken to the European Court for not allowing Gay personal ads in their club magazine "Enjoying Sherpa".

A quick google brought this up. It made me laugh. I don't know why.

Saab Brand Most Over-Represented Among Gay and Lesbian Buyers

By Jim Motavalli | April 17th, 2009

A new survey (of 3,685 respondents) by Gaywheels.com and Sorgenfrei reveals that 67 percent of both gay male and lesbian car buyers consider it “very or somewhat important†for auto companies to exhibit a “gay-friendly†reputation (when it’s defined by whether the company offers domestic partner benefits to its employees).

According to Joe LaMuraglia, a former Nissan employee who now serves as Gaywheels.com’s publisher, Saab deserves special mention as the brand most over-represented among gay and lesbian buyers. The Sweden-based General Motors subsidiary has only a tiny .1 percent of the U.S. market, but gay men are 18 times more likely to own one than is the general public. Lesbians are 11 times more likely to own a Saab.
