Can anyone identify the Black car in this 1981 PIF:

At first I thought it was a Hillman Avenger, but the wing mirrors are in the wrong place and there is no window divider on the front windows.

Its not an 81' Honda Accord as the bottom window is too curved on the car in the film.  I've tried to capture the numberplate towards the end, it looks like 'CWN 807V' but that comes up as a Chevette which this car is most definately not.

Possibly Le Top Gear - most likely a Shite Gear feature on why no-one really needs a Lambo.

Would have been soooo funny if he'd stuffed le 205 into the GayLardo as he was passing. :)

Hey cms! That's weird I was going to post the same video!
Did you find it via a post on reddit?

Oddly enough no, was going through my YouTube favourites from a few years back and fell over stuff I forgot about. Facebook got a lot worse shared on it :)

I posted this link before but (perhaps appropriately) it got lost in The Great Breakdown.

BL training film from the mid 1970s which attempts to educate its workforce not to build rubbish cars. Rather a disturbing conclusion. Worth a watch.

Lucky lady!

I liked the way that the top Ewings like J.R all had Mercs with number plates Ewing 1, Ewing 2 etc.

That's horrific that BL video, I still can't understand why they felt the need to involve a baby in the pram, surely the driver and pedestrian would have been enough for effect!
