Due to too many cars and not enough space something needs to go...

Hence this is up for sale. 1993 Rover 416 SI with 63,000 miles. Will have full MOT.

Lovely condition. Has had the suspension lowered by a previous owner and rides horribly tbh, but new springs supplied!

L565 TAP.

Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins amongst the previous owners, but not responsible for the lowering I must add. Really nice car with a great interior. Just a rust bleb around the base of the aerial. Good service history blah blah. Can deliver!

Was that sold at a Caffyn's rover originally? Any evidence on the car still?

Bob, are you sure you need to downsize the fleet? Only asking because I would love to offer a swap...

Worth more than that, i'm sure it sold last year for £750 didn't it.  Before it was hit with the kerb-clouting stance.

Hmmmm.....

Quite possibly! This is Autoshite after all...

I know I'll be shot, but that looks far better for being lower than standard.

Ride quality is overrated anyway

Yes, it was. It still has the (very faded) Caffyns dealer sticker on the rear window.

Indeed so... It looks well* lowered but driving it on the crappy coastal roads here is an experience best left to the young and those with sturdier backs!

Yo Bob, YHPM.

And replied...

Thanks!

Indeed...

As for it being 'worth more than £500' that may well be true, but no interest at £500 thus far!

Forgot to mention that the Rover has a clicky offside cv joint. As with the springs a new replacement is in the boot. As space is needed am prepared to sell for £400 as is. Still drives ok, but the cv joint does need changing.

Price doesn't include delivery sadly....

Just remembered - it's an auto though isn't it?

No.....

It's a manual.

I'm tempted but I already have two R8 flavours

If Mr Foo-Shake drops out, give me a shout. I could quite happily live with the gangster shizzle lowz.

I was beaten to it by persons unknown.

Fair play whoever it was, looks a fine steed.

I would also like to add that I have found the original wheel trims for this in my garage (kindly given to me by Pandamonium when I was close to getting an R8 last year), which the new owner can have for free if they want.
