Makes for interested cornering on country lanes with grass in the middle as i found coming back from Alton towers. Turn the wheel and it would skip along the grass towards the hedgerows then when front wheel met concrete it would grab. Had mine for 8 months and did 10k in it and apart from aux belt snapping it never failed.Better in the ssnow than the Vectra we had then and wet roundabouts where hilarious. Get one. Apparently 1988 to 1991 where the best years. The later ones i think 1994 onwards had Indian built gear boxes and dizzy and the engines where apparently Nos.

The Rialto and robin where exactly same car underneath. Well robin mk2. The robin mk2 where nearly all hatch and all Rialtos bar the early Rialto where estates. The early rialtps where saloons with mini style tailgate.

I now know why the kids on the schoolbus looked at me like I was a grade A fan dan for saying Deadmow5 rather than deadmouse.

He was in that gumball rally that came through prestwick last week.

I recon that's a fan or dealer special rather than a skoda product .

Who would want a Vauxhall Deadmow 5? It sounds like a really shit security level.
"Sir, we are at Deadmow 5. All cups have been removed from the cafeteria".

Thats just a Citigo 'Sport' which has the black stripes as standard but with a couple of extra stickers for some popular music person I've never heard of stuck on it I think. You can even get a model of the standard (un extra stickered) version -

I've seen shit loads of these CityGo, Up, Mii VAG clones slammed in DA weedz, which I thought was quite odd on brand new cars.

Saw this one last year. Don't hate me but I actually quite liked it...

Cor! Ex-Timesaver.

Anyway, back to Welsh matters. The A458 between Welshpool and Newtown is a disaster area at the moment. Part of the road has collapsed! On the way back, I ended up heading towards Montgomery on what felt like a Roman road. I'm not used to straight roads in Wales! We were just over an indicated 70mph at one point, which is barely breaking the speed limit in reality (honest officer). That was just after I overtook a Toyota Celica using gravity.

funnily enuff i took one look at the reg and thort "timesaver"

Earlier this morning I went round the M25 and came across two e46 3 series'. The first had left its offside front wheel complete with hub/strut and spring in the fast lane and had obviously bounced off the concrete barrier.

The second one was complete but more battered,by the look of it spinning into the barrier, therefore destroying every panel.

The road was very wet ,so either they'd hit some standing water or fallen asleep( it was 5.00am ish ). The curtain airbags on both work and all passengers appeared ok.

So, if you've got an e46; don't drive it on wet motorways or if you do stay awake.

Also, good morning to the shite hero in the bouncy green Xantia that was valiantly pushing on at near to 90 on the M1. Must be a Shiter, but I don't know how he was keeping it in a straight line, I waited until I'd got a lane between us before I dared pass.

Having recently owned an E46 330 M-Sport these cars are twitchy with the sport suspension, you need to have your wits about you because they can tramline. The low profile 18 wheels don't help either on some of our poorly non maintained roads.

The E39 523i driving experience was laid back but the E46 defo needed to be driven for every second your behind the wheel.

Slowly but surely more 'silly string' has been exiting from the Corsa exhaust. I stopped outside a well known electrical goods retailer yesterday and spotted some more coming out, so I pulled it. And Pulled it. And pulled it. Then pulled it again.

That would make sense they were both on 18" mv2s,one a 330 coupe and the other looked like an m saloon of some sort.

Most people are good drivers when its dry, unfortunately not many are good drivers when its wet, needless to say most of these accidents are caused by people;

A. Driving too fast

B. Driving too close to the car in front

C. Being a dick

D. All of the above

E. Some people just can't fucking drive.

F. some people can drive ok, but only forwards. Round here where most of the roads are too narrow to allow two cars to pass, it's always amusing to meet a car coming the other way and observe the look of panic on the other driver's face when they realise that - shock horror - they're going to have to go backwards.

Well it's not *always* amusing. If you're in a rush it's bloody irritating.

G. The terminally stupid.

Case: I was driving down the main road into the town some time ago. On this road is a nursing home. A woman driving a wee Hyundai drove out of the car park to the edge of the dropped kerb, stopped, looked at me RIGHT IN THE EYE, and then fucking drove out anyway.

Exactly the same thing happened in Tescunts car park while I was driving my mate's L322 Range Rover, and the other vehicle was a Vauxhall Agila.

Mine used to tramline sometimes, new bushes did help but apparently they all do that sir? I would say in the wet you need to be extra careful but that goes for any car really. Mine had good Bridgestone tyres.

As above, the accident would be down to either A, B, C, D, E or F.

Granny now firing up and working fine, hmmmm now what to do with it?? The previous owner is still happy to take it back, think he feels he could of got more for it, im not so sure, but he is always buying and selling these MK3 grannies so I guess he would know.

A unique situation I have never dealt with before, keep it, sell it back, keep it, sell it back....

Nipped around my dad's this morning to the fit my new springs and shocks to the Cortina, we only done the rears for now as my old man was short on time, Got them swapped around without to much fuss, the top shock bolts are a bit of a arse to get to but other than that no problems, It's now looking much lower at the rear, so much so that I'm not sure if it is really only a 1"! It's a bit bumpy too, Mind you it does seem miles better than before on the road so not all is lost.

I am not into trains, so I can't tell you what it was but me and my dad spent a good while watching and it made some glorious noises when it left.

Also I stumbled across a little bookshop and bought these.
