"Papa!"

You know I never did see that advert.

So yeah, I somehow now own a Renault Clio Baccara 1.8 MANUAL?!?!?! Professionally done when it was 6 years old, never sold here with a manual box. It shifts! I lit the wheels up twice coming back.

Full leather interior and suit carrying parcel shelf intact. Typically everything broken in my RT-D works in this one.

Holy crap.

I have absolutely no need for this, and your house is the furthest I've ever collected a car from, but..  Dibs?

Just watched the channel 4 thing about Bentleys. I am now sad... it seems to prove that Bentley (VW - spit!) really do know their buyers as it was just tasteless shite with a Bentayga badge on it.

So the focus.......I changed the discs and pads but the passenger side wheel bearing is away....the starter motor is on the blink, it's using oil and the EML is on. Code says lambda sensor and it's using a good bit of pez. Coupled with lots of knocks from the rear suspension and a monster dent in one of the doors it's not really worth throwing more money at. A clean MOTd one is around £300

Last weekend wifey closed the passenger door and the wing mirror fell off which was pure comedy....in my eyes.

I'll hand my autoshite card in at the door because we went out and replaced it with a cash cow which I'm ashamed to say is quite a nice car.

But before I do hand the autoshite card in I'll argue that having a decent daily means instead of spending all my time fixing the daily, I can devote more time to the XM.....So expect me to watch TV instead....

Incidentally I'm breaking the focus so if anyone wants anything PM me. It's a mk1.5 1.6 pez in a silver colour

Cashcow Mk2.

The most obvious case of admitting that the Mk1's "radical" styling cost you sales since the Fiat Multipla.

All those Qashqai's have been a great success for Nissan have they not? I thought they exceeded all expectations sales-wise.

Eh? That is a Mk1. As Mr Bollox says, they've been a MASSIVE sales success.

Amazing! Looks like they got inspiration from a Metro Vanden Plas (that is a compliment BTW)

You must have done an alright job as it's on 150k now!!

Drove it to work this morning. Bloody nice thing to drive! At idle it's like a whisper too.

Love this. My mum had a 1.4RT which I used to borrow. It was very nippy with the 1.4 8v, the 1.8 must go well - are these the 1.8 16v as found in the sportier mk1 "clio 16v" - one rung below the Williams....

Seen a potential purchase on ebay.

What is book price for 57 vectra 1.9 cdti elite estate? 97 k on clock.

When’s the thread for when it’s in limp home mode?

Arguably a much worse bet than the 3.0 you got rid of. Value? I’d say no more than you could afford to lose. Probably no more than £6-700 I’d look to give, so a good few hundred less than the 1.8 Petrol.

Fleet news- Wartburg arrival due this Thursday, late evening. Cash in a brown envelope.

This already sounds like a Cold War drama.

AFAIK it's got a 1.8 8v which the RSI used, multipoint injection. It just accelerates smoothly up to the desired speed without any fuss at all. I drove my 1.9D earlier this morning and it was such a change.

It is a Mark 1 Qashqai.

Nissan didn't expect the Qashqai to take off aswell as it did/has.Nissan didn't think that people would get the concept when we first started the trials back in 2005/6.

They wouldn’t though - how many P12 Primeras do you see?

Speaking of styling, I've been seeing a lot less Kia Sportfridges about since the new model came out.

Good.

At first it was a replacement for the almera.

I'm actually astounded at how easy to run it is. It looks massive and chunky but I'm guessing it's a similar weight to a focus.
