Yes that's it.

An acknowledgement is due to @meshking as he recommended a transport company.  Bloke provided a very good service with live tracking, so I knew when to haul my arse out of the house and wait by the road expectantly.

I was trying to convince a colleague to buy it, but it was sold before he could sort going over! 😂

Moose outside my house this morning.

We regularly have deer in the garden who run off if you go out.

I'm not certain I'd do that with something this size.

@RobT I recently sold my Daf 33, ( and I now miss it ). I have some spares left over from it. Including an exhaust pipe.  Please contact me if you are interested in anything.

I've applied for ULEZ exemption already as the new V5C arrived within 48 hours

Dont need to apply for ULEZ, its a "historic vehicle" so is automatically ULEZ compatible. I never applied for mine.

This has appeared in my parent’s neighbours front garden.  They’ve not seen whose it is yet.  Perhaps they were jealous of the x1/9?

Flat tyre for Mrs B's Clio this morning. As I suspected, when she had two of china's finest radials fitted a couple of weeks ago they didn't bother to clean up the manky alloys. Couldn't be assed to find the culprit as they're on the other side of town so I took it down to the local dodgy part-worn shop.

Ahead of me in the queue was a young girl with her dad. She was moaning about the cost of insurance - £400 a month, with a 'black box'! Fuck me, that's the best part of £5k a year to drive round in a 2013 Fiesta....

Best to keep your distance like I did because a moose can really hurt you.

Good thing I have a K11.

Nearly didn't after the other night!

I've already hit one deer ( a poor little muntjac) this year, in the rough 147 I had, but driving home the other night I nearly hit a proper sized deer head on at around 60 in the Micra.

Somehow, by turning ever so slightly to the left and the deer deciding to turn ever so slightly to the right, I just glanced it.

It still demolished the wing mirror mind you. But I'd much rather a £20 part than a destroyed front end or worse. It probably would have come through the windscreen.

I hit a deer on my way home from work at 1am years ago. I was driving my second 850. It was the perfect height and placement to utterly obliterate the passenger side headlight along with the grille.

I was a good citizen and picked up all of the broken glass and stuff from the road, the deer ran away. Bloody thing didn't even exchange insurance details.

Early the next morning I pulled the remains of the smashed headlight off and drove to my parents house praying that no bored rozzers saw me. Once I got there I pulled the headlight and indicator from my first 850 which was rotting away on their drive. Fixing it took all of 15 minutes. Then I went to work.

Guy who delivers our medicines hit a deer the other week @bramz7.

Doesn't know if it was a muntjac or a 'proper' one, but it wrote the car off, and he was bruised quite badly where the seatbelt got him. Derestrict road, so approx 50 he reckons.

Solid old things if you get them head on 😕

The Scénic is being inspected by the man from the ministry. I know it needs a wheel bearing and I was told by the previous keeper the last lot of advisories had been done.

Although I have a hydraulic press now, a severe bout of cold which has seen me in bed since Thursday pm until this morning means I was unable to do the job myself. That, one one of potentially 4 outside diameters for the outer race also being a contributing factor (80, 82, 83 and 84mm od available for the car! Getting parts returned to ECP etc is a ballache and I really didn’t want the hassle of ordering all 4 types, or having the car immobile for at least a day while I wrestled the old one out measure, wait, clean things, wait some more only to find it can’t be delivered until the next day.

Well, that would be last years advisories not done by previous owner despite me finding a receipt for them. That or really cheap and nasty parts used.

Bini of Doom had a 9am medical down at the MoT Station.

Happy Days.
1300 miles in the year. £146 in parts (incl MoT fee). £100 insurance and tax. Useful wee thing to have around the place.
