Merlin cat Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I'm finally selling my trusty C15. This is due to my dodgy shoulder deciding power steering is more acceptable to it's well being. I've now bought a Seat Inca. I've used this van as my daily driver for the past 3 years, only had a few probs. Needed new glow plugs.Exhaust broke twice - I'm now an ace at disconnecting it at roadside, chucking offending part on roof rack and driving noisily home.Accelerator bit snapped, however due to Citroen simplicity I was able to attach a boot lace to the linkage and drive to the garage with the other end wrapped round my hand to provide revs All these issues have been sorted. Mileage 101,747 The van starts and goes, I've driven from Sheffield to London and north yorks in motorways with no problems - even managed an overtake! It's got a massive load space, full length roof rack, roof air vent thing and inner liner for rear. I also put window grilles in the back to deter van burglars. Fortunately my additional security of rarely washing it acted as a better deterrent. The bonnet going rusty at the front as per C15's. I actually love this van, think it's fab and am sorry to sell it . I'm hoping someone will buy it who appreciates it's very simplicity and lack of jazzy shiny modern rubbish. Thanks - my tel us O793956O224 Ps comes with genuine Spanish San Cristobal sticker on dash for safety barefoot, Six-cylinder and Sudsprint 3
Merlin cat Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 Oops forgot price and location. £395 in Sheffield Cheers anonymous user 1
twosmoke300 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 The 3 important facts you need in a for sale post - all missing Price Mot edit - seen that in the title now - doh! Let's say mileage shall we Location
anonymous user Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 The fourth important fact is that they are wonderful Datsuncog, Tamworthbay, chaseracer and 1 other 4
Bucketeer Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Also, alter your phone number by replacing any zeros with the letter '0' or wording some numbers or whatever or else the Russian spam bots will be calling hot and sexy phone lines on your dime, or summat. And +1 for price please, although I'm sort of hoping it's too expensive for me, as megatempt.
Merlin cat Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 Thanks for your comments, tel no edited using letters instead of zeros, mileage also added and price to heading. Sheffield 101,747 miles£395 I've also got a rust free, white, second hand bonnet that I bought back from Spain (where these vans are super popular, but didn't bother fitting as I was keeping it until the existing one good too bad. If it's not broken don't change it being the motto I was going by! Thie bonnet I shall sell separately, if required, or just put on auction site. The drivers front door was also a Spanish replacement, the old one was rubbish, that's why it has the Club sticker on rather than the plastic trim.. I feel it adds to the mystique Today after I emptied it I looked under the floor liner to see what it was like as I'd never had it up, or had completely empty van since I bought it. It's got blue carpet on the floor that looked comfy enough to lay on! Also a bit up the side. barefoot and eddyramrod 2
HMC Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Phwarrr would anyone (expenses paid OBV) be able to drive this down to Tavistock, Devon? I need a c15 in my life!
Fabergé Greggs Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Love these so much, have wanted one for yonks. Car quotient currently maxed however..
Lacquer Peel Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I'd have swapped my Seat Inca for this. Lovely!

DodgyBastard Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 These are awesome little vans, I loved mine even if it was a little bit small for me. DSC_0426 by srblythe, on Flickr Faker, Dirk Diggler and The Moog 3
Faker Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I'd still like one of these. One turned up for sale in NI a few weeks ago... £595.. just not enough coppers in the piggy bank due to very recent house purchase...
Faker Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 But I still would... I've a brand new set of S2 rallye steels which would fit nicely (see foads for example pic)!
ruffgeezer Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I think I used to own this one too. I bought it from a dog minder in Warrington who had "upgraded" to a Kangoo. I sold it to buy Mrs Ruff her Berlingo. No spare cash in the kitty just now to own her once again I'm afraid.
ruffgeezer Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Oh, I did put a new aux belt on it when I bought it though.

I sold it to buy Mrs Ruff her Berlingo. No spare cash in the kitty just now to own her once again I'm afraid. I bought it from a mechanic in Lincoln but it had been advertised on here . It’s got a sticker on the back window about Cheshire dogs so must have been the Warrington connection.
Merlin cat Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 Ha ha, just seen where you are based ruffgeezer. I think you were the chap I bought it from. I got a train then bus out to where you worked, a bit out of town? The Moog and barefoot 2

purplebargeken Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Think that is the latest C15 I have ever seen. Merlin cat 1
wuvvum Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 This is rather nice. It's a shame you've already bought another van - I have a lovely* Berlingo with PAS that I could have part-exed. Merlin cat 1
Wack Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 How long is the load bay in one of these?More than a Range Rover Kiltox and SiC 2
Merlin cat Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 Yep that was me!Good to see you on here again and glad she has served you well. It's been great. Used as my daily plumbers van since I bought it from you. I'm only selling as lack of power steering as I've got bit dodgy shoulder. Even tho I've now got a relatively shiny (tho 4 yrs older) Seat Inca I've already had 2 customers saying they loved the C15!
