Probably a bit juicy for a 99 Fiesta but I'm no expert on prices and it does sound a very nice one. Show it off with some photos.

Very salty price for a base model 18 year old Fiesta really, £495 would be much nearer the mark to be honest, early mint mk6 Fiestas are under a grand now

Leave him to blow his own horn.

Fair play, that is minty.

That's bloody clean that is. Presumably it's done 60k shuffling backwards and forwards under the carport!

I did however chuckle at the way the advert had a line break in so it looks like one of the features is "three tyres, all round" :-)

Always stored undercover, makes a massive difference in wet & windy Derbyshire..Still on original Dealer plates Heartlands Ford Lichfield & original Motorcraft Battery..

Lovely. That's quite late for a sad face one isn't it? July 1999.

OHV for the win and radiant red base model? What's not to like!

Original 18 year old battery is a merit?

It does look great, a change from the rusty ones you usually see.

The sad face styling has aged well.

We're just looking for the East Midlands equivalent of Hendry, with a sense of humour, and it's good to go!

The number plate makes that.

Very nice, if it looks as good in the metal got to be value, GLWTS.

As a serial Fiesta toucher I can say that yes this looks proper nice but it's too expensive!!

Neighbour had exactly the same spec and colour one not so long ago in nearly as good condition and it was £350

It is a lot of money for the age and mileage, but it cannot be denied that's a properly nice condition car.

I suppose to the right buyer it's a bargain. How many fiesta mk4 enthusiasts are there out there? I'm sure there's many who had one as a first car so may want it for those reasons.

I think the price is right.  You could easily spend £500 on another one which then straight away craps out needing £200 spent on it, still leaving you with a tatty example.  This one is fresh out of the wrappers!

Nowhere does it say it doesn't start. You only need a new battery when the old one fails.... Replacing parts before they need replacing is a fast track to madness.

Tell that to the new owner when it fails suddenly and when it's least convenient.

The battery is ancient, it's going to fail soon.

That's quite negative though isn't it and par for the course for older cars.

Yeah but an 18 year old battery isn't a good selling point IMO. What else is original and ready to fail?

Batteries are usually quite negative aren't they? I'm positive I read that somewhere.......

Its a second hand car so potentially everything. As with any second hand car purchase.  Fuck paying that for a Fiesta, but some folk pay more for less.

Aye I know. But it's not some perfect timewarp car as some are suggesting. What does it matter anyway?
