On second thoughts, I'd have this:

Stopped and had an early Sunday morning peek at that recently. The guy's forecourt is almost the perfect embodiment of Autoshite. Had a quick chat with him previously and he's quite happy for his tat to be linked on here :)

Another illiterate pikey seller. Should've gone to school mate.

Surely that mini abortion now needs an IVA or whatever if it's had that much done to the chassis?

Posted

That Mini V6 is a heap of shite, and the vendor seems to be a dong.

Adding more pitchers aside, I am damn sure the thing shouldn't have it's arse hanging way off a transit's axle like that.....

"i am hopen to make as much as 350 as i can back so no silly offers please"What is it with these people that makes them unable to grasp the concept of an 'auction' with 'no reserve'...???Edited for spelling. Bumhats.

How do people manage to leave school with that level of literacy???My daughter is 6 and can spell better than that!! How is it that someone that went to school for another 10 years has worse spelling?

He can't be that "ill" if he can remove an engine and gearbox from the 106 he's listed.

Can't be right. Jaguars and the Rover P6 were mass produced and had all-discs.

R8 came out before a P6 but it's certainly not a first for rear discs in production. I'd think there's plenty of cars earlier than '62 with rear discs. Maybe it was the first small economy car with discs all round?

^ I think Ratdats right with the first small production car.Austin Healey 100s was the first production car with all round discs.

Was just going to say something similar  .The one on eBay is an auto though,my Dad had one in the late '70s & it was pretty rare then

Well every day is a school day, I really didn't think a little car like the R8 would of had rear disc brakes.

Posted

No Hondas were ever fitted with Rover engines apart from the mid-90s Civic and Accord diesels.

Didn't one of the Triumph TRs claim to be the first to have rear discs too?

Don't think any TR had rear discs. TR3 (from '56) was the first Brit motor with disc brakes. Jensen had all-discs at some point too. What a boring lot we are! :lol:EDIT - and yes, it seems the R8 was the first small saloon with rear discs. Blimey. Jag Mk1 had 'em in 1957, little Renner in 1962.

I found out recently that young children are taught not to spell correctly."that's a difficult word, don't worry about spelling that correctly"I believe this is what's leading to a generation being almost illiterate.
that shit started in the 60's I suffered from it when I moved to Fort William in 1967
