Never mind not promising, it doesn't look under a legal weight either.....

I'm not convinced that overhang is within legal limits either. With that Granada reversed on I reckon it'd be GR8 4 WHEELIES.

You are right, that looks more than 50% of the wheelbase.

Isn't the front wheel the original? The rest having come off a high-spec bluebird or sommert?

1979 Reliant Robin

True story - one I went to a "motoring discount centre" with Vic. That's not the story, there's more. Anyway, there was some pouchy-faced fat bloke at the counter attempting to order in some orange indicator bulbs for his "trike". The blokes on the counter were pretty unhelpful and he got into a bit of a huff, left without buying anything, then rode off into the sunset on his stupid-looking chromed-up trike. What is it about trikes making their riders look like a bit of a loser?

Suprisingly economical

I wonder at what point the surprise kicks in? "I was expecting it to do single figures and do you know it does nearly 13.5 mpg" Has it just unloaded all the crap in front of the shop? Ideal for antique dealer/car boot trader/axe murderer/banjo playing polygamist.
Hmm. I quite like that. I reckon it'd probably pull 17mpg if not driven in mental fashion. I had a monstrously detuned Chevy 5.7 years ago that would do an astonishing 22 mpg on a run (and 15 mpg in town). The 5.0 Ford lump is quite well known for managing 15-17 mpg in limos, so that thing might manage something similar.

Wow!, What a stunner, Don't think I've ever seen one before?.

Amazingly, there are at least two in this country, and I've driven one of them (not very far - it didn't like stopping...). An amazingly advanced pre-war design.

I would love to take a look around this chaps yard, He said he's got about 50 cars to sell having sold 17 so far!.

I've always had a troublesome urge for an early 200 Turbo.

The same shape as that 100, in metallic brown on the Fuchs alloys.

Like this one.

Unfortunately, according to his ad, there are only 2 200 Turbos that shape left on the road in the UK, they can't both be brown can they?

I'd have put the link, but it's sold... dammit.

Hmm.

There is this one for sale in Germany, manual, leather, AC and RHD too. Unfortunately, the lunatic is asking €4750 for it without an MOT. It's not even brown, ffs. €4750 and the thing has done at least 125k miles. I'd begrudge paying that much for a 60k miler as they're not exactly cheap to maintain and judging by the dust, it's been lying there for a long, long time.

He always seems to have loads of interesting rammle. I reckon it's the same bloke who used to trade as 'Arbtree Farm' a few years back, they had about 20 chicken sheds stuffed full of tat.
