jeezus wept..i bought a relatively rotten MK1 off the Island of Tirree in 1992 with 30k on the clock..woz a rotter but i only paid 200 quid..i had new subframes and floorpans put on it..but then abandoned it cos i had to go back to Germany..me Mum sold it for 80 quid...which got me mad..

ther is a hole in the rear exhaust box due to someone wielding a bracket on it.

 

It has alloy wheels tyers are ok may need springer sisters if you keep these wheeles on it as they are quite wide and touch the arches when going over bumps

I can't see how a pair of spaniel bitches will help

Preston Borough council had a few of those "Ants" doing litter duty and paving slab removal duty back in the 70's / 80's. They were mostly yellow - which I always thought was odd as the PBC colours were Blue / Cream, but all the street maintainance stuff was yellow.They also had quite a few of those thoroughtly Tattacular hand operated / pulled battery powered rubish carts - like a big skip on wheels with a handle but powered by batteries like a milk float, bloke walked along, pulled handle and skip followed him, but under its own steam (am i making sense or just rambling here?)@ Hirst - that banner is Ok, but not as funny as the Mike Brewer one.
