Just watched the vid on the Le Baron. What the f**k is that noise???The man in need of assistance. He's what my mother would call "special needs".I want that R4 in the earlier post, but I fear the wife may disembowel me.With a very blunt instrument.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1987-VAUXHALL-CAVALIER-SR-I-RED-WITH-ONLY-69-000-MILES_W0QQitemZ250287322494

THIS CAR IS A VERY RARE CAR I HAVE PROBABLY ONLY SEEN ONE IN MY LIFE WHICH IS THIS ONE BECAUSE IT IS A SRI

I guess you must only have been alive for 5 years or so then.

THIS WOULD BE A IDEAL CAR FOR A VAUXHALL EUPHUIST

only 9 made

Thank goodness for that :P Who on earth designed all these shitboxes in the 70s and 80s and thought they could do better than multi-million pound car corporations?I admire anyone wanting to build their own car from a kit, it must be a great sense of achivement but why buy one that looks so pants?

I love some of these bumhouse kit cars from the 1980's. Many of them are just so shockingly shit theres hours of entertainment to be had, not only from the abysmal 'styling' and piss poor mechanical bits (you cant say engineering), but the laughably crummy way many of them are self-tappered together. That 'Jeep' at the Bubble car museum had me laughing out loud at its overall wankness, evident in every single feature of its design and assembly. What a shitbox! Also I love to see a 20+ year old fibreglass 'car' that has never yet made it as far as the open road! Sends me off daydreaming about the number of times its been trailered or A-framed from one dingy backyard to another in the pissing rain, sat in a few times by some fat greebo making revving noises then left under a pile of kids toys and broken tellys making even more star cracks in its washed out pastel-coloured GRP gelcoat before ending up back in 'Loot' or on ebay awaiting the next round of hopeful unemployed tyre kickers.Equally, if someone perseveres and manages to get one completed to a decent standard, then thats a pretty fascinating car in its own right cos its probably gonne be pretty much unique innit even if it has got a gasping 1200 beetle engine or some such peanut roaster.

It was quite something, I seem to recall it had exterior door hinges, of the sort you'd use on an interior door. In a house.

It sure did, they looked like the ones from an old advert i remember in practical motorist for '3-in-1 oil', proper B&Q mild steel cupboard door hinges self-tappered straight into the fibreglass then left to go rusty! Brilliant! You just could not make a more half-arsed effort to hang a set of car doors.

'I am a Vauxhall euphuist' sounds like a pretty good bumper sticker to me.

Sounds like something you could get arrested and deported to the colonies for to me!

More kit car shit - Like this mini Metro dressed up to look like an Audi TT - just imagine being blown into the weeds from the lights by every man and his dog in anything over 1400cc?

Thats pretty cool. Granny_Bo11ox has an F-reg 950 fiesta Mk 2, its white and has kosher ford wheeltrims and radio, only about 50k on it too. front wing-valance joins are a bit crispy though and it has a dint in the door. She gave up driving years ago but Fatha_Bo11ox keeps it T+T'd for days when the Lancia has a problem (i.e most days).

I do like Imps, and I'm sure this is a superb example. But does the listing really need an essay of Biblical proportions to describe it?

Yoghurt spilled. This is indeed superb, its spare tyre looks like a crossply!!! They'll all need changing to be able to use the car properly, I had old tyres on my first Imp, couldn't get the car to stop in time...
