mercrocker Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Seen today, on M6 southbound just past Leyland turn off (fittingly). Red P6 Rover V8. Going like the fucking clappers, sunroof nicely billowed up and burning oil like a French tanker driver's strike. Haven't seen a P6 being driven like that since I saw one get chased by a police Range Rover down the hard shoulder of the M3 in 1985..... drivewaymyway 1
Ghosty Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Saw my first Autoshite sticker out in the wild this morning, an '07 Civic outside B&Q in Solihull, who was it?Spaceship Civic sounds like Noel Tidybeard?

MorrisItalSLX Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I was following a MKII Alfa Romeo Spider tonight. It was pouring rain, pitch black and on a twisty mountain road full of wildlife. The driver must have testicles measured in gallons or a brain measured in millilitres.
MondeoBlues Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 1967 Pontiac Bonneville spotted in Moseley whilst ferrying the other half between Hall Green and Edgbaston, followed shortly by an F-reg Volvo 240 in estate flavour.
Fumbler Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I saw a 240 as well yesterday. In greyish bule.
AnthonyG Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Can’t find the Late Registration Madness thread but there is a 52 plate white 306 bombing around Gloucester/Cheltenham - I’ve seen it twice in the last two weeks! Maybe ex-plod due to colour and general Pov-spec look (it’s on black steelies and I assume it’s a diesel).
MondeoBlues Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 Busy day of spotting around Brum without taking a single picture today F reg Golf CL 3 door in the industrial estate in Oldbury that contains Euro Car Parts F reg VW T25 with flatbed in Bearwood C reg BMW 316i in Jewish Racing Gold in Harborne P reg Volvo 960 estate also in Harborne M reg Volvo 940 estate in Northfield M reg Rover 600 in Nightfire red with a collision damage on the offside also in Northfield T reg Daihatsu Grand Move in Quinton that looked like it had been involved in a front end collision because its bumper was just barely hanging on Then I changed the Mondeo's oil and it was lovely
davocano Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 XYR317 Sexy Italian-ness in the form of a pale blue Lancia Aurelia convertible. Shortly after, a black MG Magnette looking a bit postwar austerity miserable-ness in comparison.
Ghosty Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Couldn't find the thread but the other week: Ford RS200 in Matlock.
Fumbler Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Polo with gaffa tape holding driver's window up, oh and a diesel Civic what was dented and rusted to hell and back.
davocano Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 A17BXR Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce that I have now seen twice in my locale. Confident* that I'll pin it down with a camera soon.
mercrocker Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Walked down to Asda today (five mins. max) ....Mid-week, mid-morning in a mid-South Coast mid-sized town. Yet still got passed by two mid-90s middle American Firebirds, a red ragtop and a black coupe. Each going their seperate ways. Haven't seen either around here before.
Fumbler Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 I saw... A Dyane. MOT exempt and was that lovely shade of baby blue with a very prevelent hint of fatal rust.
davocano Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 J308MLX Alfa 164 Lusso. In the words of that jazz club dude on The Fast Show: "....nice..."
Amishtat Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 E230JOO, a pale gold Senator which overtook me on the A12 this morning, driven by a chap who looked old enough to to have bought it new. mercrocker 1
Louise2cv Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Had my mood lifted today as while rushing out of the house trying to get two kids go two different classes in two different towns at the same time, I spotted a red Sierra in the car park over the road. It's an A reg 1.6L. Unfortunately its rear quarter light is missing but it didn't look like it had happened today. We ended up being late for everything obviously. But it was worth it.

mercrocker Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Been plodding through town on dayshift the past couple of mornings.....Absolute fucker - I hate dayshifts. Anyway, the traffic is so bad due to roadworks at the moment I am going a different way. So far this week, I-Spy a K reg Uno being giffer-piloted through the gridlock and an AS-liveried Reliant Rialto estate with a mis-matching beige door.
NorfolkNWeigh Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Yesterday I saw 2 CXes, both in Primrose Hill. One was a late GTi with Alfa 164 rims parked amongst the Range Rovers and 911s.The other was an early chrome bumper model in metallic brown , with those aluminium full wheel covers that are a bit like Aveger GT trims. The driver was not young , with wild grey hair and beard, in fact he looked like he'd fit right in here! Ghosty 1

The met brown Series 1 might be WLO 110X which occasionally surfaces in Ealing, as the owner lives in this area (though I haven't yet found the street).

oldcars Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 03 plate Kia Shuma just gone past work. Black, alloys i think it was a 1800 as it has the alloys and a boot spoiler. I was almost chasing the chap up the road.
danthecapriman Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 It’s been a good day for chod spotting. No idea why but there seems to be an unusually high concentration of them today.I was driving so no pics sadly but in order of spotting, Vauxhall Cresta PA - rough as hell!Honda Civic like Ghosty has but in metallic green P reg, absolutely mint with an old boy driving.LDV Convoy tipper, 03 plate. Not exactly a spectacular spot but it was tidy and you don’t see many of them down here anymore.Ford Transit mk4, swb, L reg in nice condition.BMW E34 touring, didn’t get the reg/age but in metallic gold and was absolutely stunning condition. Volvo 440, J reg in red. Looked solid but well used. Not seen one for ages!Mercedes 190, J reg metallic red-ish colour, also very very tidy. Always brightens my day seeing old stuff still in use. It’s very depressing seeing seas of modern shit offending my eyes!
