Anyone need some Bulgarian tat?

OK.

Looks like I'm going back to the glorious UK at the end of June/start of July

Possibly flying but probably driving

So the question is...does anyone Need anything brought over?

If it fits in the back of a LWB Vivaro then it's fair game.

I'm not up to speed on the huge farce of paperwork involving shipping any motorcycles over as yet.

I guess if you've bought something in your name,I could just pick it up as a favour.

Prices to be discussed but I'm only looking for help with the fuel costs, not out to make a big buck out of anyone.

websites to waste a few hours on include

Mobile.BG

OLX.BG

Cars.BG

Ooyyo.BG

Plus pick ups along the way could be arranged.

Cheers

Andy

Are you doing a quick turnaround Andy or staying Westside for a bit? Only asking out of purely selfish reasons.

If you do pick up a 'ped or whatever from over there the most important piece of paperwork is a handwritten note from the PO stating they have sold it to you. Because BG.

which ones are those?

Matchbox did have a factory here back in the day....

Could well be there for 2-3 weeks sorting stuff out so may see if I can get some temp work.

A non-rusty Skoda Favorit Tailgate please :-). Meet you at Dover!

Any 1980s Bulgarian home computer would be very interesting - clones of whatever... But I suspect tracking one down might be tricky?

It took me all of 10 seconds to find something I want & could afford. Good job I can't speak Bulgarian!

Just look at this Cezeta

It's no good, I'm going to have to message the seller...

There is some RIGHT old shite in the "Други" (Others) section of OLX.bg... loads of Wartburgs and Trabants for a couple of hundred quid – and, weirdly, a Phaeton 6.0 V12 for spares...

Здравейте. Вашият Cezeta все още за продажба, моля?

Is that KLX anywhere near your route? i would be interested in that without paperwork anyway if it runs and has it's engine and frame number. Obviously remuneration your way too

I'm not sure how acurate that advert / my translation is, tbf... the ad says "in pieces", but that doesn't explain the recent oil change.

That's the problem, isn't it? My Google Translate Bulgarian is going to make me look like a Gumtree scammer :(

Yep the Kwak is for parts,a lot of the ads will show the full bike but be breakers

That said they do pop up from time to time

Not planning on going through Serbia/Croatia Egg,I've heard the borders can get a bit hairy...

Löbrau may be doable but its a good 160km extra...

I need to look into going about exporting a BG reg vehicle properly

Buying 1 to use out here involves a crap load of paperwork making sure all it's taxes are up to date, visiting a notary with the seller to get stuff signed....

Maybe it's as easy as getting a receipt and chuckit in the van. ?..

Thanks - to be fair, I know of a good Favorit tailgate in the UK, I just can't get them to part with it at the mo!

Likewise, I'm using a combination of largely-forgotten 'O' level Russian and Google Translate...
