I think I have a moldy orange canvas tent from the 1970's, which I wouldn't ever want to sleep in again.

How about we each pitch the worst tent we could find in front of our cars, and sleep in the cars anyway? We'd get away with doing that, wouldn't we?

I have a fucking massive dome tent. It's big enough to sleep 8, and campsite owners dislike it, because it and a Volvo equal two pitches. I know, you'd think they wouldn't, but...

Anyway, as long as it's dry it would be fine. It's not so handy in the rain!

I think being a commercial campsite it might be more tightly controlled than previous event.

No car sleeping is standard in official camp sites. They might not allow commercial vehicles either.

 

 

Camping and Caravan Club allow sleeping in cars.

They are pretty official.

Dunno, but if they do and kick me off site, I'm too far away from home to not be a tad grumpy about it, and possibly too drunk to drive depending on what mood makes to drink...

I enjoyed Wales. I'd love to find the narrow road up the steep hill with drops either side and the forest too. Was near that big bridge and castle where I fixed water leak with rubber glove.

I think the lack of car camping has buggered it a bit tbh. I'll travel anywhere but if I can sleep in the car I drove there - even the 205 when I had it - it upsets my happiness a bit.

Tell Paula why she's lost a booking of probably 30 people, who would all have paid to go round the museum too. Maybe she will allow an exception.

I doubt that sleeping in a car will be a problem at the Bubblecar museum. I sleep in the back of my 'white panel van' each time I attend a rally there. The owners are really easy going and I would have thought they would welcome Shitefest.
