To me, random means you don't have to do anywork, just the next empty spot on the list, a number your think nobody else nobody else will want, I have given my consent to let you choose for me. My luck with raffles generally is very poor, but I don't think me picking a number will increase or lessen my chances.

You are massively over-thinking this. Just give people the first number that comes into your head. The lottery people will take care of the randomness of the outcome for you

 

Edit: And in case you're worried about people moaning their number is unlucky, I'll have number 13.

I've only gone and cooked the head gasket on it, so she will be towed down my storage and pushed to the back until I can be arsed to sort it.

Do not tow it too far! Oil pressure shell bearing gear box. Meaning that if the engine isn't running no oil gets to the box and bearings. Tow to much and it can do damage.
