The freezer was plugged in overnight so by the end of the day any remaining icecream would be going soft. We used to get free icecream, the two people were our neighbours who benefited from this arrangement, and my sister's pony who developed a taste for ice-lollys Supernaut, High Jetter, Saabnut and 1 other 4
