is that one of those modern Brazilian built original-style buses with the slightly less awful  far less interesting watercooled running gear?

Yep that's a Brazilian bus. Mad to think a design launched in late 1967 was still being made well into the 21st century

Ta :)

Well, that idea never seemed to do the Land Rover or the Mini any harm!

No. Much as people love to bitch about Beetles etc, they must have done something right to sell 22 million and keep a 1930s design in constant production from 1945 - 2003.

Similarly to Land Rovers and Minis, it was emissions and safety regs that killed them not lack of sales

I saw B16MP spaced as BIG MP. Don't know if the driver was an MP but he certainly didn't look big. Also DOA1 on a Bentley thing. Doctor maybe? or an Ambulance driver?

Also saw SNIIFFZ on a London bus which amused me for some reason

Can't remember it exactly but on a trailer drawn by a Landy "BY10MAS" or very similar.

If this ends up on a Lambo Urea or something flashy I'll be annoyed.

It deserves to be on an Ami.

Seen this afternoon. Newish Rolls Royce convertible with number CLA5Y (yes, spaced like that) I assume that the irony of that was lost on the owner :)

Reminded me of this:

Which was on my dad's moggie in the early seventies.

2 Vehicles I saw today with natty plates in and around Edinburgh. No photos as I was driving and the cars in question were going at a fair rate of knots.

NA55TTY - RR Velar. Unable to see into the vehicle to validate the plate matched the owner as all the glass was  heavily tinted

DEE 51L - Red VW GTD.
