Cavcraft Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Im assuming the bloke is called Scott Walker or something, but this made me & the missus howl with laughter It's not Alex Salmond is it? Charlie Croker and Taff 2
Keymaster Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 My mate has A16 WTF on his mk1 mr2, its not a 1.6, he is running a 260bhp 2 litre turbo. I work with a bloke who has TF51 DUB on his Golf mk5 tfsi. Back when they were famous I used to see the keyboard player from 90s band space driving around liverpool in his E Class a lot... his plate was S7NTH. The bass player was meant to have N4STY on a BMW convertible, but I never saw it. Also remember seeing either FAG60T or F46GOT on a mk1 shogun on some motorway back when I was a kid.
Cavcraft Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Can one of you jolly number plate checking folk please have a look at 11 WED or WED 11 as there was an uber tidy ADO16 with that plate on in Chester not too long agao I'm sure.
quicksilver Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Can one of you jolly number plate checking folk please have a look at 11 WED or WED 11 as there was an uber tidy ADO16 with that plate on in Chester not too long agao I'm sure.11 WED not found.WED 11 is on a red 1997 Jaguar Sovereign.
splatthefat Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Appleogies if already reported, next door neighbour of my outlaws bought his Mrs a new Ford Fucus for chrimbo one year, all was going swimmingly until she saw the reg. EA51LAY. Honest reg. supplied by Dagenham motors I'm led to believe but almost led to divorce with many loud arguments over the festive period. The plate has since been changed..... CJ
HMC Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Also in Central London, I saw a some small modern Merc coupe thing sporting the plate 'ANY 1' and a Black Merc E-class with THA11 or something similar In the 80's Jefery Archer used to have the ANY 1 plate IIRC

Thanks, it must have been the latter and they transferred it from the Austin.
quicksilver Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Saw a couple of pricey ones today: 1 TOY on a Merc cabrio and 9ON on a Jaaaaaaag.
Cheggers Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I was following M15S BJ down the M4 on Saturday
willswitchengage Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Photo0261 by willswitchengage, on Flickr Hi 2 u x or somebody called LJ? Either way, tacky as crap. T444 VAN on a... guess what... near Swindons last weekend.
Danblez Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Saw this at my local petrol station. I must admit I was sadly rather impressed.
worldofceri Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I'm sorry, I don't care how expensive your car or how witty/offensive the outcome, if you have to mis-represent the digits on your plate for it to work, it's just shit. Charlie Croker 1
Andrew353w Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Lyonsdown Avenue, Barnet (Love the 384 in the background!)Southgate Chase Side, I think!Southgate Chase Side (the other side!)Junction of Osidge Lane & Chase Side! Great to see scenes from my area-love it!
CreepingJesus Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Another expensive plate - cheap car interface (although it must be said, the car is mint);
stilo_active Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I saw this one a while back in my local branch of Tossco Extra. The way he was driving and parking it summed it up really.
willswitchengage Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Remembered I had this from many moons ago... GEDC0227 by willswitchengage, on Flickr
Hertz Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Spotted this a while back, maybe an owner of the bathstore or suchlike?
Guest Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Saw a newish Ferrari on the M25 in the summer YOU 510W.
eddyramrod Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I've seen ED52 LYN a couple of times recently... I'm Ed and my wife is Lynne so how perfect would that be? I wouldn't go near the car it's on though, a new black Mercedes coupe... I feel violated!
Mr_Bo11ox Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I saw ‘S30EFF’ on a Volvo V40 a while back, the lad had mucked about with the numberplate screws to try and make it say ‘Geoff’, of course he’d also had to write ‘geoff’ in little letters at the bottom as well to help normal people understand it. That was the first time I have ever seen ‘Geoff’ spelt with an ‘S’. Verdict: THIS GUY IS A TERRIBLE WASTE OF MUCH-NEEDED DONOR ORGANS.
worldofceri Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Verdict: THIS S3UY IS A TERRIBLE WASTE OF MUCH-NEEDED DONOR ORS3ANS. Edited to correct spelling.
eddyramrod Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Verdict: THIS S3UY IS A TERRIBLE WASTE OF MUCH-NEEDED DONOR ORS3ANS. Edited to correct spelling. OK, who's going to order that to put on their 2003-on shite?
HillmanImp Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Just found a link to this on Reddit. Teacher or paedophile?
cms206 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 A colleague of mine has a cherry plate on his Audi A6. I questioned his choice of J44 WNR when his name is John Ryan. Apparantly it reads "JAWN R". Imagine how stupid* I felt... (* not at all).
Partridge Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Just found a link to this on Reddit. Teacher or paedophile? Both?
55bloke Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Spotted a couple of gems this week: A black Aston Martin (might have been a DB 9, I'm not sufficiently clued up to tell the new ones apart) with DAV 10 B number plate. Also, on an anonymous silver Eurobox, ROD 27 T. That REALLY should be on a Model T street rod!
