Where is this fine conveyance located?

Near Lutterworth - Rugby or Market Harborough trains, J20 M1 :)

Posted

edit: thanks, I can see me in that list....  as an imposter named Fiat though  :-D

Flat-4 Alfa as in Alfasud boxer motors

That and the little thing drives really well. Bexhill to here was not bad at all apart from the blowout incident.

hmmm..  more detail

DVLA lady, she say

Vehicle make SMART (MCC)
Vehicle model FORTWO COUPE
Date first used 31 December 1998
MOT Expiry 25 March 2017
Odometer reading 85,079 kms

Other sources they say

R671 BVS is a Black/yellow 1999 Daimler Benz Smart

Numberplate first registered in Luton in 1997

This Enduro was first used on the road on Monday 1st November 1999

Sounds excellently muddled and therefore more appealing

I'll take two lucky dip tickets on this please, not entered a raffle for a while.

Added, but I have a clear weekend so if anyone wants to do a deal with something, now is a good time to shout!

Poor little Smart. Am I really asking too much for this?

Posted

I'd love it as a mobile advertising unit and loan car but I don't have the cash or a suitable swapper

Probably not. Seems reasonable to me for someone that wants one. Too much for miserly skinflints of Autoshite?

Isnt everything?

Maybe stalling only because

I don't think so.

Had it been the original price I'd have looked at this seriously. At the mo though £700 is too rich for me for something that would be a bit lot of a toy.

I'd love it, and if I had a spare £700 I'd have it off you for the novelty value at least. I don't think it's an unreal price, it's just we're all broke.

Posted

I like it too - But I already have too many cars I don't use, and a turbo / semi-auto gearbox give me the fear a bit.

Stick me down for two randoms if you do roffle it, though...

Being a three-person family it's a daft idea to bid on this and that is exactly why I have put in for two tickets.

£590, tho, sans the bits I've added to it but with a new tyre and some minor tidying inside... It's pretty much the original price plus a tyre! Admittedly I kinda hope people will want the bike rack and clock rather than having to sell those elsewhere. It's not a jacked up price.

Are you advertising it anywhere else? It might just be this place. It probably could be what we sometimes thought it was after all.

I would expect it to sell fairly easily at your asking price, with the drawback of dealing with the General Public.

I think the roffle will probably be its best chance on here.
