what that tiny number seems to suggest is that the lower spec models lasted longer on average. Could it be that they tend to be owned by the more financially conscious and therefore better looked after? Or could just be complete chance......

Yes. I quite like how it has mismatched ones including one off a Fiesta Mk3 and General Escort type!

The spare is correct too, so that's three out of five. The odd ones look like different widths, which might make the handling more interesting.

 

It has a No Smoking sticker sellotaped to the dash and a minicab antenna on the front seat. I think it may not be showing 48000 miles for the first time. (Not that I'm complaining - we weren't exactly banking on a pristine example, it looks no worse in the metal than in the pictures, and it's just as Alex the seller described it.)
