If someone's willing to help me get this Citroen sorted at some point I can repay with tea, biscuits and other baked goods, tobacco and kind words. I'm also always happy to help out others, if only to broaden my experience of doing mechanical work (I'm hopeless at it at the moment).

I'm in Stockport so open to the possibility of a group fettleing or whatever Autoshite calls it.

Meant to day I have a unit out east too, not too far from haddington

it's not a former chicken farm near Drem by any chance ? I went to such a place to collect a Mazda manifold once and the guy shares a unit with some mates, lots of half built projects in their unit :)

Just outside Glossop town centre.[/quote*]

That's handy,I live in Ripley, other side of matlock. I don't mind wielding spanners with you if you need a hand

Got the old starter motor off today, new one on tomorrow so should be fine on the immediate stuff. Think it's the brakes and the radius arm that I'll need experienced help for so prospects for group fettling are most likely when I come to do that.

Should also say, happy to look at cars on shitters behalf in East Kent (Thanet, Dover, Deal, Folkestone, Sandwich, Canterbury etc) for petrol costs (only needed if 20 miles or more). Being in what some folks on here refer to the 'arse end' of England - i.e. long journey from most places.

Not an expert, but if you need a body on the ground....

AS Midland Massiv stands ready for a re-run of the inaugural Spannering Sesh!

* That Disco gearbox was HEAVY...

Extra trolley jack already packed in anticipation of being required this time

For those that have not seen it before, it takes 3 shitters to hold a disco gearbox in place while the fourth wields the spanner.

I do own a second trolley jack now,  it was quite expensive but came with a free house.

Looking over the ADO16 earlier I've just remembered that I should probably weld the inner wing back in before doing anything else.

Near Redruth . Always happy to help a shiter .

Full commercial garage , 2 lifts , tyre machine , diagnostics etc etc

Would your diagnostic kit be able to read ABS data on the ZT? The new owner is having snags with the old girl, and it's driving me bloody batty!

Should be able to . Sorry for the late reply

Cheers, but there's no bloody light on the dash so the odds of a fault code are slim, plus I'd have to insure it!

Well stocked (if untidy) workshop near Newquay. Sporadic spare time available but always happy to try and do someone a good turn.

No kettle so you MUST bring McDonald's coffee in black.

Does your expertise go as far as welding?

Wanted: welding, east Manchester (could travel).

Can't offer much as I'm an idiot and don't have my own tools yet cause I'm a poor bastard.
