Material costs were met with WW's first bid, so it's all "for chirridy, mate" from there on!

Keep 'em coming...

£155.65 + TWO ham and cheese stotties - foil wrapped as well so will be less mouldy.

I was looking forward to them for lunch as well.

It must be a very special car if a man is prepared to give away his lunch to get it!

£161 but I don’t think you would like my Tesco diet ready meal, I don't!

Marginally OT, but for seatbelts slow to retract I (and my frendly MOT station) use a silicone based spray on them, usually in the form of cock-pit shine. I like the vanilla scented one.

Its good but try autosmart berry one, even better

What causes the sill frilliness on these and other 90s PSA stuff? Xsaras and 406s seem bad too.

£155.75, and you can go hungry.

ETA: Is this like storage wars where people bid up and up until someone well meaning comes in and bids 10p more, and then everyone else "drops" the car on them?

YUUUUUUUUUP

Looking for one seventy and nine pence, we are looking for one seventy and nine pence. Are you bidding madam? Please don't wave during the auction madam. Even if you do see your friend at the other side of the room. This is serious shit banger car business and this heap WILL be sold.

Just done a 'Trainline' from Dundee £107 is the cheapest!

Goes off to ponder.

It is surprisingly cheap (£800, compared to £600+ being the lowest I have found) to insure if I add my daughter on a provisional as of May!

Posted

So you have bidded but what price?

I got outbid ages ago! Aaahm Ooot (it's over my budget now)

Posted

I'll help anyone in Scotland collect it if only they outbid me, contribution to diesel on the way, cabbage juice on the way home.

Damn... and here's me, desperately cash-poor but with dozens of partially-consumed chocolate / biscuit bars...

Yes. PM me your address.

Not enough down the back of the couch now (or anywhere else for that matter) so I'm out too.

I can testify it is rather comfy over the 1/4 mile  :-D

Fuck this it's too salty now. I'm oot and will buy it from WW for 200 smackers once he's replaced that laquer-peeled bonnet, put a clutch in it and done the timing belt.

Posted

Do you realise you just bought this?

I am quietly confident that someone will outbid me by 10p.

Though I will be loosening my collar and looking worriedly from side to side for a while.

Being over 20 years old? My Escort from the same year was terminally rotten and weighed in not long after its eighth birthday.

Wilson Wilson is like the battersea dogs home for old chod.

He rescues unwanted chod, gives it a new lease of life and sends it on its way.
